Field Engineering Specialist

Roche is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to join the Roche Support Network. This role involves providing technical support, installation, and repair services for laboratory customers within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting all service activities to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 2 years of technical school or equivalent experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware, software, or networking.
• Successful completion of required training or certification.
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel.
• Preferred: Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, IT, and basic chemistry, with the ability to provide support outside of standard business hours.
