The Global Spare Parts Forecasting Specialist serves as the central hub between ABB's Local Service Organizations (LSOs) across multiple countries and feeder factories supplying UPS spare parts. This role combines strategic demand forecasting with operational support for spare parts sales and service delivery. The primary focus is to ensure accurate demand signal capture, consolidation, and translation into actionable supply plans while supporting end-to-end spare parts strategy to achieve high-level service quality, operational efficiency, on-time delivery, order growth, and customer satisfaction. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts for spare parts, consolidating inputs from LSOs and incorporating installed base data, failure rates, service contracts, product lifecycle changes, and new product introductions.
• Manage supply planning processes to ensure parts availability, optimize inventory levels, and coordinate with internal logistics and external suppliers to mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery.
• Strong leadership in privileged network development, emphasizing teamwork, organizational agility, and proactive stakeholder management to internalize project schedules and implement customer-centric solutions at a global scale.
• Act as the central point of this role, information point, accelerate value creation, enhance the customer experience, and contribute to the company global strategy, while coordinating with the global supply chain and external clients.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of S&OP/Supply Planning experience in multination networks.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills, ability to adapt to changes and effectively manage stakeholders in a matrix, multicultural environment.
• Ability to lead global and cross divisional initiatives and support continuous process improvements.
• Solid understanding of ERP and forecasting systems, integration, analytics tools, and SCM software.
• Forward-looking mindset, SCM professional, with meeting-up industrial contract manufacturing and planning of mechanical products.
• English: Upper Intermediate / Advanced.
• Preferably the certified in APICS with strong S&OP knowledge
