DevOps Engineer - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer to join Tieto Tech Consulting and work with our customer - a multinational telecommunications company delivering cutting-edge network infrastructure and digital services worldwide.

As part of the team, you will contribute to a centralized checksum-based artifact repository service built on the JFrog Platform (Artifactory & Xray) with custom plugins. The project supports multiple production environments and focuses on platform infrastructure maintenance, deployment and upgrade automation, service monitoring, incident resolution, and operational support for users.

In this Role you will work within a DevSecOps Agile team, as a full-fledged member, with a wide array of technologies: Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, Linux, Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Docker, Ansible, test automation frameworks. This is a great opportunity to work with Agile & DevOps, following industry best practices and tools.

Qualifications

• Excellent Knowledge of Linux, including shell scripting
• Proficient with various software package managers (rpm, war, docker, helm, npm,...)
• Proficient reading, understanding and troubleshooting Java applications/JVM (thread dumps, heap dumps, stack trace, etc)
• Proficient with automation and scripting (e.g. Python, shell, groovy).
• Proficient with servlet containers such as Tomcat
• Proficient with Web Services (REST/SOAP)
• Good Knowledge of relational databases (Postgres/SQL)
• Microservice management and deployment (Docker)
• CI/CD testing framework, E2E testing

Will be an advantage

• Front-end development (Apache, Nginx)
• Version control tools (Git, Gerrit)
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting Java applications on live systems (CheckMK, Prometheus/Grafana, VisualVM, JConsole, Glowroot)
