Product Marketing Manager

In this role, you will be the primary technical bridge between ABB and coding our customers. We strive to deliver superior support and optimal results. This role is heavily focused on Hybrid Solutions.

This role is contributing to the ELDS Grid Components business within Central and Eastern Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Providing day-to-day design support and application engineering guidance to OEM, Distributor, and other channel customers specifying grid components.
• Reviewing customer schematics, layouts, and BOMs to ensure correct component selection and safety.
• Developing application notes, reference designs, and training materials to accelerate design cycles.
• Managing and resolving technical escalations across R&D, Quality, and Product Management.
• Tracking design-in opportunities from start to ensure pipeline visibility.
• Collecting and providing market and competitor intelligence.
• Monitoring market trends and bringing key requirements to marketing strategy.
• Delivering product training and workshops to distributors and OEM engineering teams.
• Driving continuous improvement on Net Promoter Score by acting on feedback.

Qualifications:

• Highly skilled in Medium Voltage switchgear and apparatus.
• 10-15 years of experience in field application engineer or product management.
• Proven process/have experience supporting OEM or distributor customers.
• Strong knowledge of design tools, simulation software, and power analysis.
• Passionate about solving complex engineering challenges and outstanding customer experience.
• Comfortable with market dynamics and translation of technical insights.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Willing to travel 50% within Central/Eastern Canada.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and ability to travel US, Europe, Asia when required.

Salary range between $103,500 and $130,000 plus bonus and wealth.
