Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), Security and Facilities Officer
The Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), Security and Facilities Officer is responsible for overarching facility management, including office building operations, security, space management, and fleet management. This role ensures a safe working environment, manages local SHE systems, and oversees business continuity in compliance with legislation and company policy. The officer acts as a key member of the Emergency Management Team and reports directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Promote and monitor SHE objectives, legal compliance, and corrective actions.
- Advise senior management on SHE-related topics and concerns.
- Lead the emergency management team and develop internal emergency response systems.
- Provide SHE training, maintain handbooks, and manage reporting systems for incidents.
- Conduct risk analyses, periodic inspections, and report on SHE KPIs.
- Manage financial provisions for health and environmental liabilities.
- Oversee facility maintenance, utilities, waste management, and office renovations.
- Manage security compliance, advise on security matters, and coordinate with law enforcement.
- Participate in major projects to integrate security requirements.
- Oversee fleet management, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of vehicles.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in managing SHE programs and audit processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related SHE studies, or professional certifications.
- Experience working with local regulatory authorities in Safety and Security matters.
- Strong project management skills with technical sensitivity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a diverse team.
- Full eligibility to live and work in the Philippines.
