Difficult Work Environment, Poor Management
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The people I worked with were the best part of the job — supportive colleagues.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Hungarian leadership is poor, and many people in managerial positions are incompetent. Employees who perform poorly are often kept, while good employees are let go for unclear reasons. Communication is bad, there’s little room for discussion or understanding, and treatment of employees varies greatly depending on who you are. Salaries are low, teams are frequently overworked, and the overall atmosphere is tense — workers are scared, and it often feels like there’s a “spy on every corner.”
It’s very unfortunate because there are great people working here, but due to new management, constant changes, and poor leadership, many will leave. The organization is also overpriced for students, especially given the quality of support and education provided, and many seem to see it as an easy way to get a degree.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Improve communication and transparency from management, treat employees more equally, and provide real opportunities for career growth and fair compensation. Ensure that all managers are trained to lead professionally, as the experience currently varies greatly depending on who your manager is. Supporting work-life balance and fostering team cohesion would also help.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The overall atmosphere was tense and not very motivating. While some colleagues were supportive, the general mood was often negative, and communication from management created unnecessary stress.
Image
The company tries to look professional and successful, but behind the scenes, poor leadership and low employee support undermine this image.
Work-Life-Balance
There was some work-life balance, but it largely depended on your position and your supervisor. Regular employees had limited flexibility, while managers enjoyed much more understanding and freedom.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Limited opportunities for growth or professional development.
Gehalt/Benefits
Salary was very low, and benefits were practically nonexistent except for a basic transportation ticket. There was no opportunity for raises or improvement.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Cohesion among colleagues was generally good — most employees supported each other and tried to keep a positive spirit despite the difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, poor leadership often undermined this, as only a few managers truly understood how to motivate and lead a team.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Most colleagues were professional and supportive. Cooperation was generally good, though some tensions arose due to the stressful work environment.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Managerial behaviour varied a lot. Only few managers were respectful and supportive, but most showed poor leadership skills and lacked empathy. Decisions were often made without transparency or fairness.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Working conditions were poor due to high pressure, lack of support, and ineffective management. The environment made it hard to stay motivated or productive. People are often overworked.
Kommunikation
There was a noticeable lack of transparent communication. Employees were rarely informed about important decisions, and feedback channels were not effective.
Gleichberechtigung
Equality was largely absent. How you were treated depended on your role or who you were close to — managers and a few favored employees had far more advantages.
Interessante Aufgaben
Very few tasks were interesting. Most of the work was monotonous, and management rarely provided opportunities to grow or tackle meaningful projects
