Office is great, vibes are good, people are nice and talented and product is meaningful
nothing to complain
It is what you make it! You can pour your heart and soul into this place and get recognized for it or ,like many do, work your fixed hours and thats fine too.
You should have a figure things out on your own mentaility and need little handholding to thrive here. You get a generous budget each year to invest in your own growth.... courses, books, conferences....
Disagreements were sometimes taken more personally then necessary. Has evolved positively during my time here as everyone is growing into there roles, also leadership. Generally things seem to move in a good direction as the company becomes more mature.
office is beautiful, never did not get something i wanted when i asked for it... standing desk, walking pads...
Felt well informed. From how revenue grows, to what each depatment does. You get to see how the sausage is made here :)
Might vary by department but this is a company where there is room for you to define/expand your role and tasks.
Friendly colleagues, a well-stocked drinks fridge, and an excellent office with great facilities and a prime location.
At times, I feel that when opinions are voiced in feedback meetings, they may be met with dismissal or laughter.
Employees are required to take days off even when this is not part of their contract. Despite clear dissatisfaction, management enforces this unofficial policy.
Home-office rules are inconsistent across teams.
Quarterly feedback surveys seemed to be handled intransparently. Submitted feedback is often ignored, and only selective results may be presented.
If you collect overtime on a monthly basis, the first 15 hours of it are unpaid and can't be compensated, but anything else above it can be paid out or taken as time off.
In the future, you may want to start implementing open communication and encouraging constructive feedback in order to grow and become better, even though employees have different views.
Instead, make an effort to understand where they are coming from and the reasoning behind their comments. Critical or negative feedback may be uncomfortable to hear, but it is ultimately shared to improve the workplace environment.
Respect employees’ autonomy with time off. Forcing people to take days off between Christmas and New Year simply for management’s convenience is unnecessary. Employees can be trusted to complete their work during this period. Treat your team as responsible adults rather than trying to micromanage every detail.
Foster an inclusive language environment. Speaking more English in daily interactions can help international colleagues feel welcome.
The work atmosphere is pleasant when working with the team. Overall, most colleagues are friendly, approachable, open, and enjoyable to work with. However, in my opinion, the management will significantly affect this experience.
During my time there, conversations with different employees from various fields revealed that many had concerns about areas they felt needed improvement or change. When I asked why these issues were not raised, the common response was, 'Because nothing will ever change.'
The company presents itself as a cool, young startup with a healthy work environment and a strong emphasis on transparency. Nevertheless, my suggestion would be to implement transparency in practice, be open to critical or negative feedback, be open to open communication and the opinions that might come from feedback meetings with employees even if they might conflict with management’s views.
In general, a healthy work-life balance is achievable if you set clear boundaries. However, if boundaries are not established early and management is allowed to continually add to your workload, that balance can quickly deteriorate. During my time there, I observed a colleague who struggled to say no and, as a result, regularly worked late hours, weekends, and extended hours. That said, for those who are able to assert themselves, the work-life balance can be positive.
Additional benefits may exist but are not communicated transparently. There is a €500 budget available for courses or professional development, provided the training benefits the employer. Depending on the perceived value of the course, management may approve a higher amount. However, awareness of this benefit is inconsistent; some employees are informed directly, while others only learn about it through informal conversations.
Refer to the 'work atmosphere' section.
The company is largely made up of younger employees, which generally makes collaboration with colleagues easy and unproblematic. This contrasts with interactions with management, which tend to be more challenging.
While there is often messaging around inclusive decision-making, in practice, decisions are made unilaterally, even when there is clear opposition from the team. Example: Employees are forced to take days off between Christmas and New Year, despite this not being stated in their contracts. Although many employees are opposed and prefer to use their leave days at their own discretion, management enforces this unofficial policy regardless of employee feedback.
Home-office flexibility largely depends on the manager you report to.
Aside from this, the office itself is brand new and well-designed. Lighting, noise levels, ventilation, and overall comfort are excellent. Employees are also provided with a brand-new MacBook upon starting, ensuring modern, up-to-date hardware.
Communication is unhealthy and far from open. Even when employees raise constructive ideas or suggestions for improving the work environment or benefits, they may be quickly dismissed, and their perspectives might not be taken into consideration.
Salaries are paid on time.
A Jahreskarte is offered as a benefit, but it is reimbursed monthly rather than provided upfront. Employees must initially pay for it themselves and are then reimbursed approximately €31 per month on top of their salary.
Beyond this, additional benefits may exist but are not communicated transparently. There is a €500 budget available for courses or professional development, provided the training benefits the employer. Depending on the perceived value of the course, management may approve a higher amount. However, awareness of this benefit is inconsistent; some employees are informed directly, while others only learn about it through informal conversations.
Everyone is welcomed.
Every colleague is driven and engaged into creating a great product for patients - which really motivates.
One of the best startups/scale-ups in Austria.
Yes it gets busy around peak times (e.g. congresses) or new onboardings of sick funds or clinics, but the team makes it easy to get things done together.
Salary was fair and fitting to market expectations.
From team events, to meeting outside of working hours; the whole team is really full of amazing people who always have an open ear and support while delivering on sometimes tight deadlines.
Whenever you need to discuss anything; the office door was always open and every help needed was offered.
Office and office culture are absolutely ideal for daily work and team interactions.
Everyone is truly welcome. It likely was the best team I ever worked with.
From the beginning I was able to lead various topics with trust and support; which was challenging at times but always very interesting, a great lessening experience and I was able to enhance my leadership skills.
The atmosphere is collaborative, open, and fun. Communication is direct, colleagues are approachable. People regularly have lunch together or play Mario Kart. Monthly gatherings and team events create space to connect.
A modern, AI-driven company with a strong growth mindset. It has a clear startup spirit.
It’s a startup, so you shouldn’t expect a 9-to-5 corporate job. There are definitely busier periods with higher workload. If you set your boundaries, maintaining a healthy work-life balance is absolutely possible.
There are in-house initiatives to support employee development, along with an education budget that can be used for external training and courses.
Believe overall fair and competitive salary. The benefits package includes public transportation, snacks in the office, education budget and phantom shares.
I can see that the company is making progress in this area. Waste separation and other environmental initiatives have been introduced, and there’s growing awareness around sustainability. Social events also contribute to a positive culture, and everyone has the opportunity to get involved and suggest new initiatives to drive further improvement.
It’s a startup environment, which makes collaboration dynamic and hands-on. People are approachable and support if needed. There’s a strong sense of working together and building special things as a team.
The team is still relatively young, but from my experience everyone is treated equally.
Supportive and very hands-on. I’ve rarely met founders who are this ambitious while still being deeply involved in the details. Leadership is open to ideas and actively encourages the team to contribute suggestions and challenge the status quo.
Great office in a central location with good access. There’s dedicated meeting space, and everything you need to do your job is provided. The setup supports focused work as well as collaboration.
Having worked in several companies, I’d say communication is always a challenge :). Sometimes it’s too much, sometimes too little, and it rarely feels perfect for everyone.
There are regular meetings to stay aligned, and constructive feedback is always taken seriously. Overall, there’s an honest effort to communicate transparently and improve continuously.
Fair and equal. Opportunities are based on contribution and performance rather than hierarchy or background.
For me, this is one of the biggest benefits of working at an AI company like nyra health. It moves fast. It feels like every quarter brings something new. I really enjoy the combination of purpose and innovation. It keeps the work meaningful, challenging, and exciting.
We want to achieve great things and build amazing products and you will feel that in your day to day. Everyone is passionate about making the product a success, we don't rest on our laurels and want to keep building and succeeding. It's an amazing atmosphere if you look for impact while maintaining the fun.
There is plenty of meaningful, high-impact work available for those who want to go above and beyond, and that initiative is genuinely appreciated. Still I was never once asked to work overtime. I can take vacation whenever I want, even for longer trips for 3 weeks plus, completely offline. And many colleagues maintain a standard 9–5 schedule, and that balance is fully respected. The culture supports both ambition and healthy boundaries.
A lot of potential to grow with the company. Further education has been paid as well within an annual budget
Although I work remotely most of the time and am not physically present as often as some colleagues, the bond within the team remains exceptionally strong regardless of location. Regular team events, spontaneous social gatherings, as well as initiatives like a running club and a book club, create opportunities to connect outside of work. The culture is highly collaborative, with everyone eager to support one another and committed to finding the best possible solutions across teams.
Hierarchies are relatively flat, which makes collaboration with senior leadership both accessible and constructive. I value the opportunity to work closely with members of the C-level team - they provide clear direction and set ambitious goals, while trusting my team to independently develop and iterate on the best possible solutions.
The company maintains a high level of transparency around its goals, strategy, and even revenue, regularly sharing updates with the entire team during weekly meetings. These sessions actively encourage open communication and cross-team alignment. As in any startup, priorities can evolve quickly, but the founders make a consistent effort to keep everyone informed and share new developments as they arise.
Above average pay, PSOP shares available, and benefits like transport ticket are paid as well.
I couldn't ask for more. This is probably _the_ strongest argument for working at nyra. The space is cutting edge, we work on the forefront of novel medical solutions and I never had as much impact with my work before.
I have consistently experienced a strong sense of trust in my work, and my decisions are valued as meaningful contributions to the team’s overall growth. I have received recognition from both leadership and colleagues on multiple occasions, making it a supportive and encouraging work environment.
I maintain a healthy work life balance. Taking vacation time has never been an issue, as long as I coordinate scheduling with my team. My working hours align with the terms of my contract, and I have never been asked to work overtime. While certain projects occasionally require additional effort, these periods are balanced by times when the workload is lighter.
I also have flexibility in managing personal appointments during work hours, provided I adjust meetings accordingly and ensure my responsibilities are met. This has never been a source of concern or complaint.
Although my role is primarily office-based, I have been able to work from home when needed without difficulty.
As mentioned earlier, I was able to do multiple trainings during my time at nyra health to help me further excel in my position.
My salary is satisfactory and has evolved since joining the company multiple times. I was also approached with a raise in recognition of my work.
Benefits: yearly transport ticket, training budget, PSOP
The team is my favorite part of working at nyra health. Everyone is friendly and willing to help at all times.
Other than work topics, I enjoy connecting with team members over coffee / lunch breaks. Our main language in the company is English and people respect that. As with any company based in Austria, there are German speaking employees who may switch to German at times in their conversation out of habit, but not out of being rude or to exclude someone. I was met with people switching back to english less than a minute later.
I’ve always felt comfortable raising concerns with my manager, and I trust that he communicates them to the other co-founders so we can reach a suitable solution.
I'm actively involved in setting the team's goals and we've consistently delivered on them. When we haven't met a goal, we've shared a clear reasoning why and management has been supportive with that.
In general, all 3 cofounders are friendly and never made me feel a sense of hierarchy.
I receive information needed for my work but also in depth details on the company's performance (monthly/quarterly/yearly).
I have experienced a big career growth since joining nyra health and I communicate in my yearly review which aspects of my role I don't particularly enjoy. I have been met with support on hiring more team members where required to alter the team dynamic.
