Firing rounds has officially started, +25 people fired within one month. more to come! poor strategy and execution.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
PlanRadar has officially started firing employees! Good people had to go home due to bad strategy from management. by not making enough revenue, the investors have forced the company to fire around 25 people. That does not include about 10 people who quit on their own in the last two months. The atmosphere is getting really really bad - Everyone is looking for a new job outside the company.
It is not a secret anymore.
Don't let these fake reviews fool you, all these 5 stars are just fake - incentivized by HR to get people to put 5 stars review to increase their average - don't beleive it. The people who actually work and do the hard job, are not happy anymore.
There is soooo much pressure from management to do everything at once, no trade offs, no strategy, just do eveything right now faster with AI.
This is not the last firing round, this is only the start. The revenue will not magically increase, investors will not be satisfied and the company will have to fire another 20 - 30 people next, in marketing, tech, ops, finanace. The only people who are not being touched are Sales - the darlings of the CEO.
Because the product may I say not the best, and not clear who is it for, basically they can't sell it, and no one wants to pay so much for it. They have to have a ton of sales reps to convince people to buy it. Well that's not economical and therefore they can't grow revenue as fast as the investors want.
There areless people left, with a lot of workload - developers are burining out one by one, marketing too, product and design are too, Ops and finance don't care anymore. Everyone are looking for jobs outside - It is a sinking ship - all are jumping off this wagen.
Management made the bad decisions, burned money, hired too fast, changed direction every few months, and now normal employees are paying the price. The people who created this mess are still sitting safely in their jobs, while good employees are being fired.
When someone leaves or gets fired, their work does not disappear. It gets dumped on the people who are still there. No replacement, no lower targets, no fewer projects. Just “please take ownership” and work harder.
Management acts like AI means one person can suddenly do the job of three people. They want fewer employees, more output, faster delivery, and no mistakes. AI is not fixing the bad strategy. It is just another excuse to push people harder.
