Disrupt the spirit
Verbesserungsvorschläge
I noticed that many of the latest positive reviews read very similarly and sound almost too perfect, as if they come from a different reality than the one I’ve been experiencing day to day.
In my experience, working here has changed quite a bit over the last couple of years. What once felt energizing has started to feel increasingly exhausting to me, especially with the way management seems to interpret their own company values.
It felt like “Achieve the impossible” meant we were regularly given bigger targets with fewer resources and tighter deadlines, while being encouraged to use new AI tools that, in my observation, often created more work rather than less.
In my experience, “Disrupt the established” translated into frequent re-orgs and shifting priorities that left us feeling lost for long periods. It often felt like one initiative would suddenly lose momentum, only for a new one to take its place, keeping everyone constantly adapting.
When it came to “Employee centric”, I observed that our remote working days were reduced with the explanation that it would strengthen collaboration and culture. In my experience, this change decreased flexibility and added more commuting stress for many.
Regarding “We make work fun,” in my experience the organized team events and activities often felt somewhat forced, especially when combined with the general fatigue from increased demands.
In my experience, it seemed like management only really noticed when people started openly complaining. As soon as I heard that some colleagues began talking to each other and started organizing, the communication management sent to all employees felt to me like they were deeply offended by the mere idea of people openly sharing experiences and opinions with each other. In my observation, it looked like they immediately switched into damage-control mode, putting noticeable energy into keeping things contained instead of genuinely listening and caring about people. It made me wonder what exactly they were so worried might happen.
