Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

I used to really enjoy working here, especially because my colleagues made the job so great. There was a lot of trust and plenty of room for personal development at the beginning, but things quickly stagnated. Even if you took the initiative yourself, it was made very difficult or complicated to implement.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Where should I begin? I think this company is pure chaos. Employees are treated as if they were completely interchangeable. You are not seen as a person, but only as a means to make investors happy. There are no benefits, no real career opportunities, and decisions are questionable. The latest reviews speak for themselves, and the sudden emergence of generic top reviews is surely just a coincidence ;)

Verbesserungsvorschläge

To C-level executives: Get off your high horses and put yourselves in your employees' shoes. Because without them, you wouldn't be where you are today. Really listen to them and be prepared to make “sacrifices” yourself instead of shifting everything onto your employees. After all, it's the employees who make a company what it is (I know you always say you see it that way, but your employees aren't that oblivious).

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Praise is rarely, if ever, given; when it is, C-level executives prefer to praise themselves.

Kommunikation

Communication is an absolute disaster. You only find out after the fact when colleagues are no longer there because management thinks we're in the US and lays off employees from one day to the next. This only shows the remaining employees how little their work matters, how little it is valued, and that they are just a number. An incredible amount of know-how is lost in the process, and the rest have to figure out how to manage the processes on their own.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

One of the reasons, if not the only reason, why I stayed.

Work-Life-Balance

The new home office policy has had a massive impact on work-life balance. Some employees have children or parents to care for and are now restricted for no apparent reason. Instead, it gives the impression that there is no longer any trust.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Even after years, you don't feel like management knows who you are at all. Decisions are simply made (such as the work-from-home policy) even though NO ONE wanted them. Instead, you are gaslit into believing that there was such good feedback on it. Basically, the quarterly reports just seem like self-adulation by the C-levels to me. If they could at least present well, it might not be quite so bad, but apparently a rhetoric course is not in the budget. Instead, money is being spent in ways that would immediately raise red flags with the tax office. One of the C-level executives named Elon Muskas a role model in a presentation just a few days after he gave that infamous speech where he waved in a "funny" wy. That was absolutely shocking.

Interessante Aufgaben

not really

Gleichberechtigung

In 2025, there were 16 femicides in Austria. We are still far from achieving equality. But of course, let's celebrate International Men's Day! :) I think it's an excuse to make it seem like they care about mental health. Especially considering that nothing was posted on International Women's Day. I find that absolutely DISGUSTING. Even if you want to address the issue, you can do so in a general way instead of specifically celebrating men.
I also find it completely racist that colleagues from other countries with names that are not typical for us Austrians can/should choose “new” names.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

basically no older colleagues cause no one want to stay long enough

Arbeitsbedingungen

The office is actually okay, but not for all colleagues. Some of the spaces are really nice with a beautiful view, but if you're unlucky, you end up in a room where you develop a vitamin D deficiency after just a few days. With the construction site, working is also barely tolerable, but hmm, what can you do when it's getting louder and louder and working in the office is becoming increasingly difficult? Yes, just come more often! :)

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

What should one expect from a company that does business in the most questionable countries? No matter how much greenwashing is done, the fact that business is done with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Russia shows me that there is no social awareness.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

In my opinion, employees from other countries are deliberately recruited because they demand less money than Austrians and are unaware of their rights. It seems that collective agreement classifications are being done incorrectly so that less salary has to be paid. This is an open secret among the teams. It has already been discussed, but nothing is being done about it. Maybe someone should take this up with the Chamber of Labor.
Some time ago, they proudly posted on LinkedIn that Planradar was one of the top four companies to work for in Vienna. I wonder how much it cost to get this ranking, because there's no way that's true. There are no benefits. No job ticket, no meal allowance, no training budget. That's actually standard practice in Austrian companies these days, so being in the top four must have been bought. If not, I really feel sorry for the people in other companies.

Image

To be honest, I can't say much about that; very few people know the company.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

If you want a promotion, you have to ask your manager, who then works with HR to create a development plan (which can take forever). For some people, this takes up to a year, which I think is a slap in the face as an employee. You see my work every day, and either you appreciate my efforts and see that I deserve a promotion, or you don't. Instead, you're supposed to take on additional projects on top of your actual duties. In the end, a decision is made as to whether you have fulfilled the plan or not, so there is no guarantee that you will actually get a promotion after all that hard work. In my opinion, this is simply a way of delaying salary increases.
