Completely terrible. There are no people responsible for coordination, which means that if there are say 10 people in an initiative, everyone must talk to everyone, to establish the current status, which is a recipe for disaster due to the individual stressed place on everyone to "perfectly communicate", especially the engineering managers, which have to try to "stay on top" of what is being discussed. Weirdly, to them this is not a problem and they do not realize that these problems can easily be solved.
Whenever we were together in a group it was great and we all "talked the part" but individually the complaints and skepticism were endless and a lot of people share the same feelings that I am expressing in this review.
Quite good. Usually I could go home for the day and not feel as though there was some extreme problem to deal with after hours.
Completely awful. From one of my superiors was complete and utter technical incompetence as well as complete inability to lead, and from the other was complete rudeness and reliance on passive aggressiveness to get the points across. GThe rudeness in particular made my employment experience completely stressful, since I had never dealt with this sort of behaviour before ever in my working life.
The problem domain is quite interesting and complex which makes for interesting situations and problems to solve.
At least in my department, terrible. Working on subpar solutions for problems that should not exist sums it up nicely. No real sense of working on product features that actually matter, or implementing proper technical solutions to difficult problems. People in the team seem to just laugh this off, but when people are rage quitting it is a sign that something is terribly off. When people tell you to your face that "this cannot be done" something is terribly off. When there are operational problems on Friday afternoons that cause stress, something is terribly off. When you are stressed and it is "your problem to solve" something is terribly off, etc.
