Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Home office is something that was nice. I understand though, that not everyone could use it. So it was a benefit only for office people, if I understood right.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

If the Board does not stop their toxic behaviour and controlling ways, there will be nobody left to work here. So many motivated, dedicated, and hard working people have left because they are so frustrated with the current situation. It has become a horrid place to work. That's why I left.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Stop trying to control everyone and everything. Give employees the power to make decisions again. Home office is now 40-60% in most countries, but why not allow 100%? It worked during COVID! People are being forced back to the office. Pay all employees fairly and do not play favourites.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Toxic. The atmosphere is so toxic since the new Board have been there. Micromanagement from the top to lowest levels. No body in the organisation can make a decision without Board approval. What was a fun and motivating place to work is now a place of fear.

Kommunikation

Amongst employees, its great. From the Board, its not existing or what they say cannot be trusted. Decisions are made and changed without notice. No transparency, eventhough promised.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

A few years ago it was great, but in the meantime, everyone is so afraid of saying the wrong thing and loosing their job that its now every man (or woman) for him/herself.

Work-Life-Balance

Not good. Again, they try to make it look like they care by offering some online calling system, but then you cannot hire staff that you need. More resources is just nice to have and as long as the existing employees are doing their work, they are satisfied.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The existing Board may be made up of several people, but only one person has the say. All decisions go through one person.

Interessante Aufgaben

Here too I would have answered different a few years ago. Now, it is no longer interesting because you cannot do anything on your own, no new ideas, it all comes from the top.

Gleichberechtigung

I have heard that there is some inequality regarding pay scales. Having worked in headquarters, I cannot confirm if this is true or not. I have heard that country offices and rescue centres are paid less for equal work.

Arbeitsbedingungen

If you cannot make decisions or need approval for everything you do, that is simply no way to work. Then they may as well do everything themselves.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

This I would say is good. Focus has been put on reducing carbon footprints, less travel, etc.. I have also heard that the rescue centres have solar panels for energy, grow their own food, use e-cars, and so on

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

A new pay scale has been introduced, but I have heard that many employees are dissatisfied. People are complaining about unfair treatment/pay.

Image

The image to the outside world is very good.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

No opportunities available.
