Work on better communication, on finding motivated people and not the ones who are there just to work on something, and please bring more ambitious people. I recommend measuring the success of the employees and giving clear goals for each person or at least the team.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
I enjoyed it overall! There were some really motivated team members, smart and ambitious. Yes, it was also hectic sometimes, not always having the best plan or strategy but most of the people I worked with were always motivated and very supportive.
Kommunikation
There were some issues, definitely recommend to work on this. On the other hand, I had a very similar experience in the other startup I worked at. So, this was not a big surprise for me.

Incredibly supportive and loving people. Many became friends.
Work-Life-Balance
Never worked for an employer with a better life-work balance. Taking a vacation on very short notice was never a problem or home office day. The office was almost empty each Friday at 3 pm.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
The door was always open to listen to our problems and to give suggestions. What I mostly liked was giving time and allowing mistakes, allowing us to experiment and find out the best solution for something. It was not expected to find the best thing that works immediately. Time to prove yourself was given to everyone. Maybe too much time for some people though.
Interessante Aufgaben
If you love your job, it is already interesting. If you stop liking it, you just had to show interest in some other areas and prove yourself there. I didn't notice many people taking this chance.

Everybody is treated the same. Unfortunately, even the ones with bad results were treated the same as the ones with good results.

Most of us were kinda thrown into the cold water. To be honest, I was told during the interview process to expect this and accepted it. I learned how to swim and enjoyed it. But yes, it was difficult many times. Luckily, very supportive team members made it easier. Besides, I got MacBook Pro for private use also, a phone, an additional big screen and if I needed something else I just had to ask for it, I was never rejected.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Most of the people didn't really care even about separating the garbage although there were trash bins to separate the trash.

Very good salary for startup and even for more established companies.

The best add for Vienna and Austria as a digital city/country. Very few companies managed to make such a serious portfolio of IT superstars visiting Vienna. I know two previous employees who got their new jobs also, among the other, because of the gained experience at WeAreDevelopers.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Self-responsibility is here the key to improving your career. You could easily see who wanted to bring the best of himself/herself and those people were the best team members in the end, according to my opinion. And some of them even started their own companies later on.
