The location of the office is super nice and close to the city center of Vienna. There is a job ticket for public transportation (option for Austria wide). Super nice office management, local HR and general management team, which organizes cool regular events.

Verbesserungsvorschläge
There needs to be a more open corporate culture throughout the whole organization. Employees should not just have the feeling that certain actions are there to put out “fires” or bridge bad news. More attractive salaries, a more transparent career picture, real benefits and less showmanship from Munich would do the company a lot of good.

The vibe in VIE office is fine and mitigated the vast changes within the company pretty well.

None, higher positions are sourced from outside mostly and mostly hired for MUC, not in the branch offices.

Just above the collective agreement is not competitive.

The main reason most of the people still work here are the colleagues. The VIE office lives from its local management.

Within the VIE office things were fine, management from headquarter in MUC is a disaster. Dishonest and just bad leadership.
Kommunikation
Depends strongly if communication is with the headquarter or within VIE office, within the VIE office communications are open, honest and productive. Communication with the head office in Munich is rather poor, nobody delivers bad news (you are confronted with facts) or nobody dares to deliver it. If there is good news, everyone jumps on it and tries to sell it as theirs.
