Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

If you want to, you can optimize your salary with the overtime hour system without actually working overtime.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

My experience with Eraneos was marked by disappointment and frustration. The company portrays itself as a modern, dynamic consultancy, but in reality, it operates like an exclusive old boys' club, heavily dominated by outdated leadership styles and traditional mindsets.

Innovation is discussed frequently but rarely materialized. Processes are slow, bureaucratic, and resistant to change. Leadership seems more focused on maintaining their own status than developing real business opportunities or fostering employee growth.

Sales strategies are weak and often out of touch with current market demands. Many leaders seem more comfortable recycling old contacts rather than building genuine, sustainable client relationships. New ideas are often met with skepticism rather than enthusiasm.

For ambitious professionals seeking growth, development, or a forward-thinking environment, Eraneos may not be the ideal place. The company's focus on appearances rather than actual performance is a major hindrance to both personal and organizational success.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

There is a serious lack of clients, and those we do have are often dissatisfied with the quality of delivery.

We almost never manage to sell a second engagement due to underwhelming performance, even in the public sector where standards are lower.

There is no real investment in employee development—training budgets are minimal, and core consulting skills are neglected entirely.

Sales capabilities are weak, and internal expertise is often overstated or outdated.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The work environment lacks energy and direction. Recognition is often based on visibility and politics rather than actual contribution. Genuine motivation is difficult to maintain in this setting.

Image

The company delivers inconsistent and often low-quality work, resulting in dissatisfied clients and little to no repeat business. The lack of real consulting capability, combined with poor project delivery, damages client trust. Many experienced employees leave quickly, further hurting client relationships and internal stability. Frequent rebranding attempts — every two years or so — are a clear sign of an identity crisis rather than meaningful change. The company has no strong brand presence in the market and suffers from a growing reputation problem due to high turnover and failed projects.

Work-Life-Balance

Work-life balance is officially promoted, and the public mindset allows you to have an absolutely chill life, if that's what you want. But in practice, if you're one of the very few driven ones and want to achieve something, long hours and constant availability are the unspoken expectations.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Promotions are based on visibility and networking rather than skills or results. Leaders are often selected for their ability to play internal politics, not for their ability to lead teams or drive value.

Gehalt/Benefits

Salaries are clearly below industry standards. There are minimal benefits, and raises or promotions are not tied to performance but to internal politics and visibility. There's no clear compensation strategy, which leads to frustration and demotivation.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

There’s very little evidence of genuine environmental or social responsibility. Most initiatives appear performative and lack measurable impact. Sustainability and social awareness are not embedded in the company culture or daily operations.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Team spirit varies greatly and is often undermined by internal competition. A culture of self-promotion over collaboration is subtly encouraged, which damages trust across teams.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

I guess that's ok - benefits of the old white men's club.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Leadership often lacks both strategic direction and people management skills. Many decisions seem driven by internal politics rather than actual performance or client success. Promotions frequently go to those who are the loudest or most connected — not those who deliver results.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The company operates under a high-pressure, short-term mindset. There’s a strong “hire-and-fire” culture, where people are brought in quickly without proper onboarding, and let go just as fast if short-term sales targets aren’t met. Across all levels, there is constant pressure to sell — often without adequate support, structure, or clear value propositions. This creates a stressful and unstable environment that prioritizes numbers over people.

Kommunikation

Internal communication is poor and often one-directional. Key decisions are made behind closed doors, with little to no context provided to the broader team. Transparency is sorely lacking.

Gleichberechtigung

Despite occasional surface-level initiatives, there is no genuine commitment to diversity or inclusion. The company is predominantly male, especially in leadership, and very much functions like a traditional boys’ club. Women and minority groups are severely underrepresented, particularly in decision-making roles.

Interessante Aufgaben

The work is largely centered around body leasing with very little actual consulting. Client challenges are rarely tackled in a strategic or value-driven way. Most roles involve repetitive execution rather than meaningful, developmental project work.
