Are you looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in engine development within an international industrial environment?

Join Liebherr Machines Bulle SA as a Young Talent - Technical Development and contribute to the development of combustion engines for defense applications and gain hands-on experience in a challenging international engineering environment.

We are looking for a candidate available for 12 months internship as of February 2027.

Your responsibilities

• You support technical development projects for combustion engines dedicated to defense applications, from concept development to validation and integration.
• You assist in the coordination and follow-up of engineering activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements, timelines and deliverables.
• You contribute to the analysis and implementation of technical and customer requirements.
• You support the development and application of engineering tools and methodologies, including reliability analysis, continuous improvement and technical documentation.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including simulation, electronics, testing and other engineering departments.
• You participate in technical investigations, problem-solving activities and product improvement initiatives.
• You support the preparation of technical reports, project documentation and presentations.

Your profile

• You are currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• You have a strong interest in combustion engines, mechanical systems and technical development.
• You have good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
• You are proactive, curious and motivated to learn in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• You are fluent in English, knowledge of French and/or German is an asset.
• You have good knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with engineering or project management tools is an advantage.
