Senior Engineer - Structural Analysis

Your Tasks

• Perform classical stress analyses and finite element analyses (FEA) for primary and secondary metallic aircraft structures
• Develop stress reports, structural substantiation documents, test plans, and test reports to support certification activities
• Support compliance demonstration activities in accordance with CS-23 certification requirements
• Collaborate with design, certification, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve structural challenges
• Interface with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and airworthiness authorities throughout the development process
• Take ownership of structural topics within a fast-paced and evolving aircraft development project

With this you convince us

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Around 5+ years of experience in aerospace stress analysis, including metallic aircraft structures
• Proficiency with FEA tools such as NASTRAN, FEMAP, or comparable analysis software
• Knowledge of CS-23 certification requirements; experience with cabin or cockpit structures is advantageous
• Open-minded, adaptable, and proactive, with strong engineering judgement and a solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills in English (C1) written and spoken, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. German would be an advantage
