Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
2b Ahead ‘culture’ - team was very engaging and seemed keen to get to know ME - welcoming and made me feel valued
Responsibility - was given more responsibility than had expected but this made the internship far more rewarding
Sense of progress - belief amongst the team of growth as a business and that the work being done is somewhat seminal. This created an inherently motivated work ethic and made me personally invested in the work I produced.
Freedom - enjoyed the choice given to me over the focus of internship
Support network – various team members made themselves available to me for when I needed help or clarification. This made what is typically an intimidating, complicated process more accessible. Also appreciated frequent ‘check ups’
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Technology provided - v old laptop with many flaws. Wasn’t disastrous but made working more time-consuming than it should have been, especially due to how often I’d work from home
Integration - due to circumstances of internship (covid + summer holidays) meant it was harder to really get to know colleagues. Often team worked from home – obvious barriers to building a relationship over Teams / Zoom
