Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The quality of the desk equipment.
Coffee was good.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Everything else outside coffee and desk equipment.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

do less project.
stop implementing automobile industry ideas if you do not have enough staff to back it up.
being at the office is not being at school.
management and top management should not rely on their staff to chew data for them.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The lack of empathy between colleagues within the company is a disaster.
The amount of work, the diversity of tasks, the nonstop going emails flow, the ever changing given directions and the sense of constant emergency cannot create good, enjoyable working conditions and made it almost impossible to reach any sense of accomplishment.
The word "no" is taboo.
Being able to "take time" is very rare.
Being independent is expected but only to achieve precisely what was ordered => obedience is much more valued than independence or outside the box thinking.
Needless to say, that benevolence is neither requested nor encouraged.
There was no sense of dread coming at work in the morning but there sure was a sense of relief to leave it in the evening.

Read the other commentary, it should give you many examples just how bad the communication within (but also without) the company was.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The colleagues I was working with were friendly, dedicated to their task, competent and open minded. It has been a pleasure to work with this team. I truly believe that without their support, my experience with ADA would have been a shorter one. I salute their daily commitment to this company.

Work-Life-Balance

Was ok but only because I decide it be so : the workload is so intense that the company (its managers) awaits and expects a dedication to the work that goes way beyond the contractual 40h/week. It's actually implied in the working contract and talking about it was already subject to tensions.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Top-down and one way only, few praises.
There was no real discussion in the form of debates of ideas with the management.
Managers were not communicating efficiently with each other’s which gave way to many form of interpretations regarding "who should do what" which creates and emphasizes confusion among teams.
The lack of feedback from strategical meetings or decisions making gave a real sense of one-way work: you do stuff because you're told to and hope to learn from someone else if the work had any impact.
The lack of trust/self-management reminded me of school, where the teacher's voice was law: it is a feeling I would rather avoid in the future and which has, for me, no place in a working environment.

Interessante Aufgaben

On the paper, topics were interesting.
Practically, the administrative effort that should be implemented to please the management makes any task less interesting if not counterproductive.
If a meeting or a discussion is not reported with an email to announce that you have written a report, the meeting or discussion just did not happened.
If paper work is your hobby, then yes, the work is interesting.
To have to handle multi-site responsibilities looks like an international challenge: it’s just adds more confusion to the mix.
The quantity of works prevents any qualitative approach of the tasks, which made it impossible to appreciate what was to be done.

I wasn't aware of the company name or existence before I applied.
I cannot judge its image in a good or negative way.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

The company and I parted ways to soon to have any serious talk about evolution.
Since the job title was already not encompassing the true scope of responsibilities, the question of evolution was already a tricky one.
Formations were possible and given, that is true.
The problem was what was awaited from those cessions from the management and how fast results were expected.
