Some great people but no company culture
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
If you are motivated, there is a lot of room for you to grow.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
No interest in keeping more senior employees
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Listen to you employees, help them grow.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
A lot of people are overworked, tired, and sad. Some managers are bullies.
Kommunikation
Except for "Take responsibilities and make more money" there is hardly any meaningful communication from management to the employees. Firing people sometimes seems out of the blue and only raises the workload for everyone. There is no vision or company culture.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
There are many great people who have been or are still working for this company, Unfortunately the way management treats them creates an us versum them mentality which forges great bonds but is bad for the atmosphere.
Work-Life-Balance
Throughout the past years more and more people either left or were asked to leave without replacement which raised the workload for the remaining people who are expected to take over the tasks without getting compensated adequatly or being appreciated for it. Basically you are expected to exploit yourself without calling it out.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Some higher-ups are either bullies or incompetent or both, especially in the in-group they are all friends so if any outsider really wants to make a change they rather get rid of them than listening to the critique.
Interessante Aufgaben
There can be interesting tasks if you create them for yourself.
Gleichberechtigung
Female employees and those who are not in the friend circles of higher ups should expect to be paid less.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Old, energy costy hardware standards and some charity events.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Payment is below average.
Image
The player community has lost all trust into the company and how it is handling the games. They are either salty or toxic and the company does not know how to handle critique.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Don't expect anything. If you find someone within the company to learn from, good for you. But more senior members tend to leave and there is hardly any documention. There is no budget for professional development (courses, workshops, etc.) either.
