No one is forced to do over hours. Depending on project status there are phases demanding either longer hours or a packed schedule. Which can be balanced out on the following week(s)

Trainings and conferences are either for the Senior Scientist level and above or mandated by upper management. Doing anything outside of that is accompanied by painful negotiations over and over.

They are trying. Unfortunately, there is only so much to be done when working in a sterile environment

Issues with the building are always present, work safety was a serious concern but is steadily improving

Within AIRNA Germany quite good.
Information and decisions from US sites' upper management are deliberately omitted until it is too late for stopping or changing it.

(almost) no unequality between genders.
