Engineer culture still existing, but in disappearing.

Arrogant senior managers, directors, etc.

Got some good friends, but mostly leaved or on their way leaving.
Can hardly make friends with the left.

You are managers, maybe not because you are better than other engineers but very possible you are not a good engineer (Most Case), so pls respect your engineers and don't judge them, maybe they don't have your experiences, but at least they are clever than you.

Individual still difficult to satisfy.
Mostly not interested.

Overemphasis on formal equality.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Low and outdated wage model.

It was still good five years ago, but not good any more.
It's hierarchy and culture is not fit for digital world and also it's management. I'm still missing it's old time.

Management culture.
No real room for engineers.
