the company is aiming for a start-up ish atmosphere but the founders all sit separately working and even for lunch. You barely get in touch with them. Hierarchy still plays a big role.

thank you for the feedback on your internship. We are always happy to hear that you have perceived Applause as having a friendly team and good benefits.

We are of course sorry to hear that you have perceived your internship as having boring tasks - the general feedback from our interns about the tasks is positive which is why we have a large number of interns who choose to remain at Applause and start to work here full time.

We certainly understand that an internship may not have the same level of tasks and responsibilities, the same level of compensation or the same level of interaction with our senior executives as a full-time role. However, we are very open to suggestions on how to make an internship even more exciting.

We are open to receiving constructive feedback about how we can improve our company culture and employee experience. Indeed with more than 100 employees and a lot of interactions with our customers, it can get louder in the office at times. We have therefore spread out the teams over two separate floors and have made the rooms on the bottom floor available for all employees in case they need a separate room for an hour or a day.

We understand that during the summer it can get very hot and have therefore made a significant investment into an air conditioning system for all spaces where feasible which covers at the moment over 50% of desks.
