Not awesome anymore, not really bad. Hopefully gets better again.
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The pay is very good, the team is great. The hours are flexible, but only because the team makes it work. Even though the day to day tasks can get a little monotonous, it's an awesome place to build up your experience. You're constantly working with actual customer data and real-time security threats.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Lately, I see a lot of low effort 4 and 5-star reviews with barely any text. It honestly looks like an attempt to cover up the bad reviews. Management should just reply to the negative feedback directly. It would look way better to future hires. I highly recommend anyone interested in working here to just ignore those "empty" reviews.
As for the company itself: the focus right now seems to be almost exclusively on growth and expanding services. Employee morale is suffering because of this. Trying to change things for the better takes ages and an exhausting amount of convincing just to show management that an idea benefits the company. Actually improving our core service is way too low on the priority list.
Real team events are almost non-existent now, "for budget reasons" we were told. But let's be real, for a company this size, the cost of one or two big events a year shouldn't even be an issue, especially when you factor in employee satisfaction.
Edit (to address comment): Yes there are some kind of events, but not really anything like it was earlier with a planned summer or christmas event.
The worst thing is, all my remote colleagues are completely left out which wasn't that way in the past.
Finally, workation is a massive topic. It was for some reason completely stopped. We live in 2026, and a company that talk about how modern and awesomee they are can't make this happen? Come on.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
The focus right now is entirely on optimization. Yes, AI plays a big role, but the main issue is that there's little to no feedback being implemented from the people who actually use our tools day-to-day. Listening to them would not only make everyone way more efficient, but it would also fix the massive drop in motivation we're seeing right now.
We constantly get requests and surveys asking for feedback on various things, but I don't feel like they actually lead to any real changes. Also some higher-level managers have no idea what the people under them are actually doing all day and suggest weird ideas or processes that make absolutely no sense.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The atmosphere within my team is good.
Image
The way I see it, the company’s reputation is at least not improving.
Work-Life-Balance
This seems to be highly dependent on the department you're in and the manager you have. I am happy with how things are.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Career growth opportunities are great here, especially for career starters. All it takes is motivation and commitment. Unfortunately, a few people think they deserve a promotion just because they've been around a while.
Switching to different departments is also possible from time to time.
For more experienced people, moving up is tougher, but still doable.
Note: Unfortunately, there are no real requirements for becoming a manager. This sometimes results in people getting promoted to management positions even though they lack the necessary social skills.
Gehalt/Benefits
Despite what some Tier 1 analysts are complaining about, the pay is pretty good. It feels like a few people here just don't know how well they are treated here in terms of salary. For benefits, there's a discount portal and a good company pension plan where you can invest in funds. So all in all, it's pretty good.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
The company could definitely be a lot more flexible with working from home. Colleagues who live near Frankfurt still need to come into the office regularly. Forcing people to spend money on public transport and cars for no real reason just isn't eco-friendly.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Good for the majority of colleagues.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Haven't really heard of any issues here.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
I'm generally happy with my manager. He always has our backs and supports us wherever he can. But honestly, it feels like he's losing motivation when it comes to fighting for the team/changes/processes, mostly because of how things are going with upper management.
Kommunikation
The overall company goals are clear. However, communication between different managers doesn't always seem solution-oriented or focused on what's best for their teams. My relationship with my manager is great, but based on what I hear from other teams, that's definitely not the case across the board.
Gleichberechtigung
Haven't really heard of any issues here.
Interessante Aufgaben
The company's main goal right now is just scaling up and optimizing, which makes the daily work pretty repetitive. We used to have a nice variety of tasks, but that's being phased out. Now, it's pretty clear the motto is "more work in the same time".
