- sometimes it seems chaotic when priorities change (which is normal in that stage)
- leadership and development skills should be more important since there is a lot of organizational changes going on and people can switch fast into new roles if they show effort. But this development also needs guidance which sometimes seems to be forgotten within the daily operations.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
- management should act more guiding in decision making and interact less in daily operative things
- the team is great in what they are doing and everyone has their very own special expertise, showing that more frequently would enable the people even more
- more health related benefits would be great
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The vibe between the teams is very nice and respectful. There is always something new happening in the Berlin office which is nice to see and makes it easier to collaborate/get insights aside from your working area. With a real diverse range of people which makes it funny and interesting to work together on a daily basis.
Work-Life-Balance
It can be challenging at times and people need to set their own boundaries, sure. but on the other side, overhours will not be taken for granted and will always be compensated. working hours are very flexible and can be set to personal needs, same with home office or remote working. which is nice!
Karriere/Weiterbildung
if you have a reasonable request and it can be managed within your scope of work, there is access to individual budgets for education purposes.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
very supportive! of course, some people are working in more settled teams than others but overall there is no such thing like competitive behaviour or negativity towards each other. Everyone gets along really well and enjoys to spend time (also outside working hours) together.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
i dont feel like age is a relevant topic at all. the team has a diverse age range and no differences on any side.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
At this stage of course there are some parts from that can be improved. The management is actively taking steps to improve communication and organization of the teams, which is not easy but feedback is heard and taken to discussion. not all at once, but this is also something that cannot be expected when you work in this kind of very fast changing environment :)
Arbeitsbedingungen
office is nice, a bit crowded or messy sometimes but in general we have everything that is needed. you can choose which hardware you want to work with and get access to all additional equipment/tools that are needed for your personal set up quickly.
Kommunikation
communication is on a solid ground. on-site of course a bit closer/quicker than working as a freelancer for example
Gehalt/Benefits
salary is in a normal/upper range for Berlin standards and is adapted to skills/expertise/development over time.
benefits platform where you can choose between USC, vouchers or mobility compensation (50€ per months)
besides that, there are fruits/soft drinks in the office. and amazing summer/winter parties :)
Gleichberechtigung
also solid, of course there is a gender gap (not pay gap though!) in the technical job positions, but this is a general thing not caused from within. everyone gets treated the same for sure.
Interessante Aufgaben
its always welcome to bring in new ideas. if you want to, you can try out new things within the company and develop into different areas. there is always some new projects coming up and hands are needed so thats basically forcing you to create new skills everyday! which causes a huge and really quick learning effect
