Great atmosphere!
What I like about the employer
I went to my manager and explained that I had a chronic health issue that triggers lots of pain when sitting 8 hours in front of a computer.
I didn't need to ask for anything. The next day, my manager had order material to make my desk more ergonomic. I have never seen something like this in my whole career. So definitely a place that is friendly to people with disabilities.
Working atmosphere
The management is friendly, accessible.
The colleagues always available to help when you start in the company.
Communication
Even in home office, lots of video calls.
There are often meetings to update employees about important information.
Collegiality
Frankly, we are from everywhere. England, India, Germany, France, Switzerland, Syria, India, Italy, Peru, Spain. So I think we are all happy and curious to interact together and it makes work really a nice experience.
Work-Life Balance
You can arrive at 10 am and leave later in the evening if you want.
You can work from home.
A flexibility that makes your life easier when you need to visit a doctor for example.
Leadership behavior
Friendly, respectful, awesome really.
Interesting tasks
The medium-size of the company allows you to do a cool variety of tasks. If you want to ask for more things to do, here you shouldn't be shy to ask because this is possible. You don't start in a role where you have to strictly stick to your job description. So you can expand your responsibilities and this is clearly motivating.
Equality
Clearly not a topic here.
Interaction with older colleagues
I'm probably among the oldest. But really ongoing elder colleagues and again, very accessible and happy to help.
Working conditions
Big big thank you for the huge efforts in making our new offices a super comfortable and cozy place to work in.
Salary/Social benefits
The salary may be a bit below your expectation, but the advantages listed above makes it more acceptable.
Image
People seem to be proud to work for a medical device that makes a change in women's life.
Career/Professional development
Lots of trainings proposed by the mother company. Unfortunately all in German so if you are not fluent, you won't be able to attend them.
