This is a great company to work for. My suggestion is to at least come in and check it out, meet with some of us and get a feel for what it is we do. The company is great at taking care of it's own. The treatment of the employees is top notch, which for me is the number 1 aspect I look into when deciding whether or not I want to represent a company.

Let me paint you a picture...you show up to the office where you are greeted by smiling faces and early morning conversations around the automated coffee machines. You grab a bowl of cereal, or some of the fresh fruit in the kitchen and head to your desk to settle in for the day. You water your plants, glimpse at the pictures outlining your space, and login to your Mac Book. It's quiet in the office, peaceful; it is easy to concentrate on the task at hand.
The morning passes and it's time for lunch, which more often than not is covered by Check24 a minimum of (3) days a week. In addition, you also have an, "Order whatever you like", delivery lunch provided by AurumCars at least once every couple of weeks. Gathering around the kitchen with your colleagues enjoying each others funny stories from the weekend or work challenges which someone at the table usually has an easy answer to give you.
The offices are cleaned daily, it's comfortable. From the chairs to the computer screens, you cannot get much better.
It's cool in the summer, it's warm in the winter...and if it's not, the company is quick to fix the issues immediately.
Kommunikation
Communication is key in any company. There are no dictators in this organisation. This is a well oiled machine where ideas are shared, thoughts expressed, colleagues are listening and providing useful feedback. I've never heard of a single argument in the (6) years I have been with the company. Micromanagement - Do you need it? Everyone has their position within the company, everyone knows what needs to be done and it's up to you to get the job done. If you need help, have questions, can't figure something out...everyone is eager to help to ensure you have the support you need to tackle the task at hand. Doesn't matter if it is a working student, or the CEO. We support each other and always have time for questions.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
I've touched on this in the first two paragraphs. This open environment is free of judgement and full of support. Everyone gets along on this team, and if they don't, they are really good actors. I myself always appreciate it when colleagues with less experience come to me with questions. It makes me feel important to them, and I thoroughly enjoy passing down any knowledge I might have to make my colleagues more confident in their day to day tasks. There are no individuals who hold themselves higher than another, we are all equal, and this makes for a much more comfortable working environment. When a person makes a mistake, they have the entire team backing them up to solve the problem; not casting judgement or mocking them. When a person succeeds above and beyond, we are all there to celebrate their achievements.
Work-Life-Balance
The company is extremely focused on the employees well being. Working hours are pretty standard. There are no "Blackout" periods where a colleague is not able to take vacation. We have some colleagues that work (4) day work weeks because of family, and we have some that come in extremely early and leave right after lunch. Some of us work 10+ hour days. When it comes to working students, studies come first, the way it should be. I live a good life and I'm happy with the balance the company provides and accepts.

The supervisors are great! If you've put in the time and energy to become a supervisor, you have all the more time to focus on the success of your team. Supervisors are there to help, answer questions, and ensure you are the best possible version of yourself in the office.
Interessante Aufgaben
Interesting tasks...I can say I've had several of those myself. Not everything is as exciting as the next blockbuster movie coming out, I mean, it's work at the end of the day. Everyone has goals and targets, if not by the company, than by you yourself. As with any company, it's partially on you to make the most out of your office hours. There are so many open positions within the company, it would be impossible not to find something that interests you. I can guarantee you that you will never be bored on this team.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
"Dealing" with older colleagues? Do we have some strange disease or something? haha
I'm one of these "Older Colleagues", but for sure I do not act like it. I put my pants on the same way you do, one leg at a time. I enjoy learning new things from my younger colleagues and I'm always hopeful I can pass down some of my industry knowledge to them in return.
Arbeitsbedingungen
As mentioned above, the working conditions are great. The offices are clean, you know when you have to be at the office and when you can leave. Free food, drinks, top of the line hardware, quality chairs and desks. (Some colleagues even opt for the electronic desks that move up and down for comfort throughout the day) There is nothing that you can't ask for to make your work day more comfortable for you. (Outside of a massage chair that I am still hopeful for)
We have some amazing company events throughout the year. Whether it's dressing up for a Halloween party, gearing up for, (what is always amazing), summer party, or doing team events such as arena football, table tennis tournaments, dart tournaments...it's a fun place to be when it comes to work. AurumCars does have a "Moment of the Week" every Friday, where, if you choose to participate, the team shares their individual highlights of the week; whether personal or business wise. It's a great opportunity for new colleagues to get a better understanding of who they are working with and the kind of people they are surrounded by.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
AurumCars and Check24 are involved in so many charitable organisations that is is hard to keep up with what is out there. I myself participated in donating Christmas presents to orphaned children this past December, who may not otherwise have had anything. The group is highly focused on the environment, and we are always looking for ways to reduce unnecessary waste. Every year the company offers it's employees a "Christmas Gift", or you have the option to donate the value to a charitable organisation instead. It's really amazing, and not something I have ever seen in a company before.
