High turnover shows poor management style and zero trust work environment

most colleagues are nice and open to chat, we're all in the same boat after all. HR is trying to make a difference, but I don't think she has the power to actually change anything.

Management: micromanagement, no trust, communication style that should be abolished for all work-places (let's just say it's loud and dismissive). The turnover rate speaks for itself. About 20 people left this year alone.. and we're only 40 to begin with

Management should step away from day-to-day operations and micromanaging everything. They think they are growing the business, but they are hurting it instead by making employees miserable (see the turnover rate)

no idea.. we are supposed to use AI for everything these days. That can't be good for the environment.

For the most part, it's good.. but there are some who just like to stay in the management's good graces and lose their backbone in the process.

There aren't many older colleagues, maybe 1 or 2, but they are in the same boat as all of us

Used to be better. These days, managers barely even bother speaking up anymore, because management doesn't like to be criticized and they pretend to know everything about everything. It's exhausting
Arbeitsbedingungen
Being forced to be in the office more often now is not really helping anyone's productivity when there aren't enough meeting rooms or phone booths to actually work from during meetings. The kitchen is always a mess, which makes any break time uncomfortable. We get to work with macbooks, so that's a plus.

Oof, pandora's box. Management says they're open to feedback but when you try to give some... my recommendation: don't!
Gleichberechtigung
There are the management favorites. They will get salary raises and promotions. Then there's the rest of us.
