This is relatively dependant of your colleagues, but in general it’s a very hierarchic, old-fashioned and intransparent company.

Kommunikation

Communication within department is mostly fine, but as soon as this concerns bigget organisational structures, be prepared to wait a long time for answers on general questions and be referred to several other contact points.

Work-Life-Balance

Overhours do not exist. We are told to balance them out by ourselves but in practice you will not have space and time to reduce your collected overhours.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Managers are open but have very little feeling with operational field of work. Concerns of people lowest in the hierarchy are listened to but aren’t adressed to bring actual change in.

Interessante Aufgaben

As a employee in the lower hierarchy you will do repetitive work that often does not require a lot of thinking.

Gleichberechtigung

Big difference in opportunities given to male vs female employees.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Pro: 30 days holiday, reduced public transport ticket, cafetaria.

Contra: very low wage, no overhours, very little options for further development.

Extremely low wage. Even people with a master degree will make way less than the industry’s average.

Dear colleague,

thank you for your feedback. We are glad you are reaching out to us. We are aware that we still need to improve certain areas within our company in order to offer a satisfying work environment.
Some of your mentioned criticisms are unfortunately not comprehensible to us, though.
As we want to offer to our employees as much flexibility as possible with our flextime and mobile working, it's also in the responsibility of each colleague to deal with over hours individually. If you are not able doing so, please reach out to your manager yourself, to find a suitable solution, as the health of our teams is the top priority to us!
If you also don't feel challenged enough in your tasked anymore, feel free proactively address this to your manager.

Regarding career and development opportunities, there are many exciting incentives on the intranet - including mentoring, our talent journeys, the internal job market and our digital learning platforms. This can be used proactively by any of our employees!
