Cool job, as long as you function in their way

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The atmosphere is cool, when you are part of your manager's monthly favorites. This can change fast and if you end up on the wrong side of your manager's "grace", going to work is no fun at all

Kommunikation

They always promise to improve the communication. A lot of smoke and mirrors, if you ask me.
But I have to say that this improved with the internal social media channel. You still have to get the desired information yourself though.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Your team and colleagues is what keeps you there. Always happy to help, supportive and more friends then colleagues.
Young team, often with international background, open for activities outside of work.

Work-Life-Balance

No extra hours, when you're off, you're off. Nobody will contact you in your private time (except for extreme emergencies, which never happened to me).
But:
A lot of people have to travel a lot and are constantly on the road, that means no time to spend with friends/family or hobbies after work, as you're stuck in some city/town.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

As I said, when your manager likes you - everything is great. If he/she doesn't - that will suck.
Also: very young "managers" with limited or non existing experience/qualities in leadership, this results in incompetence and rivalry amongst others

Interessante Aufgaben

Not really..You're basically doing the same things again and again. There might be an interesting project every once in a while, but basically it's the same boring things

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

There are no elderly colleagues.
Long-time employees are not really appreciated more than others.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

The salary is not a lot! Sure, you get "benefits" on top (free lunch, parties, fruits, coffee,..), but in the end this still is not a lot - especially since the majority of employees have an academic background.
This is also a topic in the yearly employee survey, but is always ignored.
