Talented employees trapped in organisational chaos
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
*Capco is significantly more open to international talent than many consulting firms in Germany. The company provides opportunities for professionals who may not meet the German language requirements. No mindestens C1 policy and I even met a newcomer from Asia who had A level in German language. That is a really wonderful aspect! I also had the opportunity to work with many highly competent, professional, and supportive colleagues, particularly at specialist and middle-management levels.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
My experience with senior leadership was far less positive. The organization felt highly hierarchical, politically driven, and lacking in transparency. In engineering and technical domains, I frequently observed poor coordination, shifting priorities, and a noticeable gap between management decisions and operational reality. The contrast between the quality of many employees and the quality of leadership was particularly disappointing. During my time at the company, I observed repeated changes in senior leadership positions within a relatively short period. Combined with shifting priorities and limited transparency, this created an impression of instability and made it difficult for employees to feel confident about the company's long-term direction.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Reduce organizational complexity and improve transparency in decision-making. Empower specialists and middle managers instead of relying on highly centralized, top-down structures. Establish a clearer long-term strategy and improve coordination across technical and engineering functions. Also, reduce the gap between corporate messaging and operational reality.
