At numbers, they really know what they are doing, managing with numbers is brilliantly done.

Reward your employees, really, otherwise they will keep leaving as they are doing every single year.

Team leads: please protect your teams if you want to keep your team members, otherwise you will keep losing them.

The work atmosphere is nice, really nice, at least most of the time thanks to the awesome and brave people who work there who made it possible.

Kommunikation

Communication is very clear and direct with most of the company workers despite for a few members who would rather practise snitching instead of communicating directly and address issues, it is a shame but, that's how it is.

It is during stressful times that the cohesion becomes visible, and during stressful times I saw real cohesion in this company, great people working in a great cohesion.

Work-Life-Balance

Some people had to work during vacation days, some people were asked to work although they were sick, a work-life balance aware culture shouldn't have such practices, to me there is no work-life balance in this company.

Team leaders are intimidators in the first place, they make sure you abide by whatever rules that come from the top, they make sure you "choose" office presence over a hybrid work model because this is what their superior wants, they are just there to repeat the narrative of their superior, you can seem them as delegates of their superior, they don't protect their teams, they instead surrender their teams to the wishes of their superior.

It all depends, one thing I can tell, you will work in an e-commerce company, unless you are a sort of programmer or so who works in the mobile team, you will be nothing but an actor in an e-commerce company, forget about those drifting cars you see in their ads, in the end you will work in a company with the same e-commerce challenges as almost any other company.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

They have salaries that are average, nothing more, the market is here to witness it.

Benefits? No, there are no benefits, although the company makes enough money to give benefits that are far ahead of the competition.

The mistake I think this company is making is telling its workers how much money it is making without giving them a reward for that, this is what results in them leaving.

In regard to work-life balance, we understand the importance of fostering a healthy dynamic. We want to clarify that our team is committed to creating an environment that supports work-life balance. We assure you that any instances where specific team members have worked during off days (e.g., weekends), are under truly exceptional situations during, for example, heavy sales campaigns such as Black Week. We are proud to work with very career-passionate team members who share some of their time off to keep our projects successful. On the few occasions this happens, we always make sure to compensate for this extra effort by giving an extra day off, which is immensely valuable to us.

Furthermore, we’d like to mention that under no circumstances is any team member required to work while their health is compromised. Sometimes, our team members may feel a bit under the weather but feel strong enough to fulfill their tasks, and thus, they work from home. This choice, however, is completely up to their own discretion, and we always prefer and encourage our colleagues to take the time necessary to come back 100% recovered.

Regarding your concerns about benefits, we’d like to confirm that we offer a comprehensive range of benefits to our team members and strive to provide competitive salaries that go beyond industry standards. We conduct a quarterly team sentiment survey to gather feedback and adjust benefits and motivation accordingly.
We have an office presence-oriented culture, and we strive to make clear this inclination as early as the first call of our recruiting process. In fact, our benefits and office presence culture meet in the budget we offer our team members to encourage their coming to our office (e.g., for commute support or techy appliances to boost their performance). In short, we acknowledge the benefits Home Office has in our hybrid model, however, we cherish even more the joy of seeing our team members and engaging with them constantly.
