I appreciated the clear communication, professional and friendly interviewers, and the well-structured recruitment process. The company culture appeared collaborative, welcoming, and focused on employee growth.
Continue maintaining the transparent and candidate-friendly recruitment process. There is also an opportunity to further improve the overall compensation and benefits package to remain competitive and attract top talent
The focus on nurturing a warm and welcoming culture
A brilliant multicultural team of focused and driven individuals
Highly organised and goal-focused
The international atmosphere, the clear core values and goals. The trust they have on the employees and the easy access to C-level. Office is also nice and the work policies possibilities.
The benefits could definitely be improved. Also perhaps having a pet friendly office would be nice :)
One of the bests I have seen so far!
Always have space from improvement, but it is satisfactory.
Very professional. Clear goals and strategies
One of the core values of the company
There is not many bonus/benefits/perks
Culture, environment, financial incentive, the people!
Everyone is so caring and at the same time hard-working.
You control your working time and no one will watch you. You're responsible for your work and your goals.
Great & international people which makes the environment diverse and welcoming
Older colleagues are always open to teach and help whenever needed.
I love my manager. He knows how to give feedback and make sure we're on the right track. He gives feedback like a pro.
Healthy, predictable, exciting.
Communication is one of our values and we live up to it!
All the employees have similar conditions and contracts. You know for sure that everything is fair and you don't have to worry about being made a fool.
Every month is different and exciting. We have a great management team which knows what the next steps should be.
The culture here celebrates individuality and encourages everyone to be themselves. This creates a sense of belonging and confidence, helping me grow both personally and professionally. Surrounded by supportive and kind colleagues, collaboration is enjoyable.
From the start, I felt welcomed and valued.
no overtime working, I decide my time
very good
no micromanagement, a lot of trust
People are open and transparent.
Carly literally has the name "Car" in the title. Automobiles are my passion and Carly makes this passion 10 times bigger. The company really cares about the employees and make working really fun any joyful. I have been looking for the right jobs for years and I finally found the one right company that I think I can imagine staying long term. I love everything about it and everyone in it. Great atmosphere, high tech equipment, great salary. To this day, I believe Carly is just too good to be true. I leave my house with a smile on my face.
Carly might not really be for introverts. People are very engaging and fooling around all the time. For someone who is not very outgoing, it might be a little overwhelming in the start but you get used to it very quick and no one really forces you to do anything. Many social events are organized that help you get out of your comfort zone and engage with your colleagues. Carly isn't just work and no interaction. It's fun to work and you are expected to really love and engage with your colleagues.
As I had already suggested this to the HR team, it would be totally awesome to take every new employee for a ride with a BMW and drift around the parking lot. And no, this is not a joke!
At numbers, they really know what they are doing, managing with numbers is brilliantly done.
At keeping good talent, they are very good at managing numbers but very poor at managing people.
Reward your employees, really, otherwise they will keep leaving as they are doing every single year.
Team leads: please protect your teams if you want to keep your team members, otherwise you will keep losing them.
The work atmosphere is nice, really nice, at least most of the time thanks to the awesome and brave people who work there who made it possible.
Some people had to work during vacation days, some people were asked to work although they were sick, a work-life balance aware culture shouldn't have such practices, to me there is no work-life balance in this company.
It is during stressful times that the cohesion becomes visible, and during stressful times I saw real cohesion in this company, great people working in a great cohesion.
Team leaders are intimidators in the first place, they make sure you abide by whatever rules that come from the top, they make sure you "choose" office presence over a hybrid work model because this is what their superior wants, they are just there to repeat the narrative of their superior, you can seem them as delegates of their superior, they don't protect their teams, they instead surrender their teams to the wishes of their superior.
Communication is very clear and direct with most of the company workers despite for a few members who would rather practise snitching instead of communicating directly and address issues, it is a shame but, that's how it is.
They have salaries that are average, nothing more, the market is here to witness it.
Benefits? No, there are no benefits, although the company makes enough money to give benefits that are far ahead of the competition.
The mistake I think this company is making is telling its workers how much money it is making without giving them a reward for that, this is what results in them leaving.
It all depends, one thing I can tell, you will work in an e-commerce company, unless you are a sort of programmer or so who works in the mobile team, you will be nothing but an actor in an e-commerce company, forget about those drifting cars you see in their ads, in the end you will work in a company with the same e-commerce challenges as almost any other company.
This company made my transition to Germany very smooth. The people, the energy and the opportunities are all a great mix of what would make a great place to build your career.
Very comfortable environment to be yourself, to enjoy your colleagues and to be focused on your daily tasks. So we can come here to have a great time but also to better than yesterday as a company, in terms of performance and achievements. In 5 words I would describe the experience at Carly as: work hard & play hard ;)
This is up to you in whatever job you do.
As the company grows you also grow with them. If you are motivated and want to take on new challenges to learn more, there are lots of opportunities to be involved in new projects.
As a small and family owned business, most of the benefits are on the growth an learning that you will get. The pay is average to the industry I would say, and if you perform well you will be compensated in a decent salary increase
You are in germany, so expect a standard recycling and caring of the environment almost everywhere... such as Carly
SUPER international colleagues with 20+ nationalities. Also, you spend your days around motivated and dedicated people.
We all get along no matter age, nationality, etc
Leads are not the typical "bosses". They are very engaged with the entire team, very approachable, and can even become a mentor more than a "boss".
Very modern and open office equipped with everything that you would need to carry out your tasks, but the friendly people is what makes up most the enjoyable environment
Since the company has a flat structure, everyone is very aproachable and reachable. Its easy to communicate with your colleagues, and its from all sides that people are open to be communicative. You dont have to chase people to get responses. I would say that staying in touch is part of the DNA here at Carly, so don't expect any less than that.
Even though of the management are only male, the company gives equal opportunities to all genders. When management assigns team members with new and big projects, it is always a mix of men and women from all teams that are given the opportunity to participate.
The big advantage of Carly being a small company are all the opportunities to be involved in new projects. I also give it to the management team, for trusting and wanting all employes to be part of new initiatives with new teams.
-> great people from all around the world, who became my friends
-> exciting role expectations (while being supported / mentored by our leads)
-> team cohesion, communication and open door culture
-> team events (sometimes family members included)
...and many more
Nothing
Nothing that I can think of :) I am still very proud of being part of this international team & excited to learn more and more.
Almost everything is perfect. You decide how much you gonna like the place. I find it to be very awesome with very awesome people. You have great possibilities to grow, but this is up to you. Nobody is going to push you. If you are closed off or lazy, this is not the place for you. Its perfect for open and talented people.
Very good and friendly with a healthy amount of gossip
So verdient kununu Geld.
