It used to be good, but now it has become a “global village,” where profit is maximized by reducing costs everywhere.
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Honestly, I’ve worked at worse companies. Payment is on time, and benefits are solid.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
There’s no real connection to the company. If it went bankrupt or faced problems, I wouldn’t feel anything. In my past jobs, there was passion and a sense of belonging – almost like family. Here, DLR means nothing to me personally.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
It’s hard not to compare with past companies, but over time things here get worse.
I understand the focus on profit, but maximizing profit at all costs is not sustainable. The company is making quick money now, but I believe in the future it will decline – because constant cost-cutting leads to lower quality.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Not good globally, because of constant pressure and cost-cutting that reduces service quality.
Image
Used to be good, but it’s getting worse and worse.
Work-Life-Balance
It could be good, but expectations for “proactive” sites don’t fit with a healthy balance.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
This is one of the few positives: you can always expand your career if you have the time.
Gehalt/Benefits
Average salary compared to others. Benefits are good.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Fine, but only because of certifications that require it.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Not good anymore. There are exceptions, but people are replaced so quickly that you can’t really build bonds.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Also fair – everyone gets the same workload and pressure.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
I’m lucky to have a very nice direct manager, but globally it’s just the “village” approach – where an American way is assumed to be the global way.
Arbeitsbedingungen
You get the tools, but the authorization processes are a complete mess.
Kommunikation
Poor globally, and getting worse locally. People focus only on their basics, without understanding what “global” really means.
Gleichberechtigung
Fair – everyone gets the same amount of work and pressure.
Interessante Aufgaben
Not really interesting. Sometimes there’s potential, but mostly it’s about maximizing profit through cost reduction and following brain-dead KPIs.
