as it grows, you can also grow and take over more and more responsibilities. it feels very natural
communication could be better, as always. but the company pays a lot of attention to it and is aware of it
the company is on a very good way. it may need some time if everything is settled/ established, but it's still a startup. on the other hand you get a lot of opportunities to shape things
a lot of opportunities, you just have to take them
organisation is currently under development, that's why it rumbles from time to time
full support. you can bring initiatives which you think are important onto the managements table
bringing together modern software development with the banking world is challenging, but also exciting
startup backed by an established bank
can be improved. information pass only in small portions or not much in advance, but in generell everyone is interested to be transparent and share all information necessary/ interesting for others
high degree of freedom. besides the current working context, employees can shape the company culture as well. a wide field if you want to build up things from scratch
The idea of a company startup sounds nice and many people really tries their best to achieve this goal.
They try to be a startup without being a startup. It seems that they think that having a couch and a Nintendo Switch at the office makes them a startup. On the other hand they try to copy big companies like Google and Amazon according to their processes. Too many people who have no clue about software and product development are in positions where they can make decisions.
The CEOs should start to lead and put the focus on software development and not "everything around" that. HR should be at least disempowered or replaced, as they are too mighty within the company, take decissions that a CEO should take, and also backbite about employees.
Unstable requirements, high pressure. You can be blamed for things that were not your fault.
image in the outside world is very good but does not match my experiences within the DKB
much stress before end of sprints, worked over hours.
Learning budget is promised but actually getting something paid is a hard process with many disucssions.
depends on the team, some co-workers were very good, some other didn't hesitate to sacrifice you
the range was between mid 20 to mid 40. age was never a big topic
No clear leadership, no real backing of employess towards higher hierarchies.
good hardware but a very arkward development envrionment. Nice office with nice beneftits such as free soft drinks, coffee, and cereals. Office was very crowded at the end.
not communicated expectations towards employees, important information are kept secret, promises are broken
Good salary
gender is not a topic and employees are treated equally
well, it is FinTech, hence nothing that will change the world.
