Looking ahead, one of the key challenges may be avoiding the feeling Bilbo Baggins described of being stretched thin, "like butter scraped over too much bread". This can be helped by better processes and more structure.

When the company started out, there was a very close-knit atmosphere. This has inevitably changed with the size of the company. At the moment, I would say the atmosphere is neutral.

May be summarized as: to whom much is given, of them much is also required.
Working hours are highly flexible, which is a significant advantage when it comes to arranging personal appointments or commuting via public transportation.
But there are also peaks of activity where everything comes together all at once. These can be difficult to navigate and require healthy personal boundaries, and the willingness to assert them.
Gehalt/Benefits
Good pay. I've also seldom seen a company that does so much for its employees in terms of a kitchen stocked full of snacks and fruit and a plethora of feel-good company events.

Most people are kind, polite and helpful, with few exceptions. There is comparatively little backstabbing. Some people want to push their agenda at all costs.

The company has been increasingly hiring older people in addition to the thirty-somethings who were there in the beginning.

I have rarely encountered management who are as kind, humorous, and approachable as in this organization. They create an atmosphere in which I have always felt at ease and able to speak my mind.
Management has high expectations of themselves and of their employees. On the one hand, this is good. On the other, I find the number of competing priorities to be challenging.

Management makes regular efforts to communicate important updates on a company-wide scale. Communication is friendly and informal, but sometimes spontaneous and last-minute.

Never a problem.
Interessante Aufgaben
Generally, the field of quantum computing is one of the most interesting ones out there. Personally, my tasks are often repetitive and not very engaging. But this is not the norm in the company.
