Nice culture that is result oriented but takes into account that we are all human beings and not just "ressources".
The team spirit that enabled us to go through tough times together and improve and learn together.
The new vision and strategy - I strongly believe that this will make the company succesful!
Be more proud of what you do - and ensure the market is aware of this!
international, result-oriented
Sure results are in the focus, but the company provides all possilbe flexibility to combine your work with your life and family.
Everyone has a budget to spend each year on development - it's our responsibilty to do it, but well supported by the company.
Weekly sponsored lunch together, and the distributed team is gathered in one place at least once a month
Homeoffice combined with office days to meet the team - everything you require is there ( but could use some more small breakout rooms)
Diverse and supporting culture
the new vision, the new entrepreneurship, culture and atmosphere, being part of a bigger very organized group, my colleagues
having its office in the North of Munich :-)
invest in employer branding / storytelling and be more bold about what we do
small team, very personal and empathetic, people care and support each other
we laugh a lot together which I think is very important and helpful
part of the b.telligent network now where we have been welcomed very warmly
as written in the headline, emnos went through some rough times in the first half of this year which also affected the image I guess. But in general, emnos is very reknown for its high-class standards and being a pioneer in data for retail
emnos expects high standards in work quality and dedication, but very flexible in terms of mobile/home office, work hours, etc.
we were told we will get a personal budget for this which can be spent throughout the year. Let's see...
good average base salary for Munich, all of us have an additional company success factor
they pay lunch every week when we have our joint office day
company iphone that can also be used privately
"betriebl. Altersvorsorge" is possible and gets financially supported
I must say it could be more, especially in concrete activities. Then again, what is it that a tech company should concentrate on?
super nice team with a lot of dedication (and knowledge!) for what each colleague does
I cannot complain at all :-) Yes, sometimes I would appreciate more time and direction, but at the same time, I like my freedom and empowerment to take decisions and move things forward. Every one of us is equipped to make a difference
as said, we joined the b.telligent network where we are equipped with everything we need
going through some strategic re-direction where there could always be a little more "Handhalten" and sharing, but still very open and transparent
decisions get taken fast and communicated clearly
more women than men, and that for a tech company! And also very nice, very international, even in this small team
emnos has set itself a super challenging target, but that makes it super exciting to part of the journey and (hopefully) get there
i don't know. maybe the food?
horrible people!
Please communicate the end of the company honestly. Accept, that it is over! It has always been a dream and it will never come true.
everybody is just trying to jump the sinking ship.
well, there is nothing to do, so this is actually a benefit - lot's of freetime.
none
bad
none anymore
after all these years and fail - vanish
typical Munich office… just look after yourself and nobody else. Me me me!
people are left alone fighting
not competitive
well…
everything
do the world a favor and close
none at all, altough necessary
very bad.
none, very stupid
Fairly good work-life balance, some good customer base, easy accessibility via public transportation
Bureaucracy, lack of transparency, poor communication practices, bad politics
Probably will have to start fresh with new management
Working conditions are backward and old fashioned. Org. is quite bureaucratic, and policies are often inconsistent, with employees not trusting each other
Even those who are there for many years do not have confidence in company's ability to recover and management do not seem to care. Though emnos is indirectly a subsidiary of Amex, in practice Amex has little impact, interest or influence on emnos and viceversa
Occasional demands on presence during the weekends, but otherwise flexible working hours are offered.
Training budgets are entirely at the discretion of line managers. No known and consistent HR policies on promotion criteria. Mid level managers who are longer in the company get to promote their favorites regardless of the performance.
As a plus, some internal training programs are offered from time to time
Colleagues do not trust each other and are constantly plotting or scheming against each other. There is minimal trust, despite spending thousands of euros each year on management workshops on "team building". People playing favorites are usually the norm
Often very hierarchical, do not offer much growth opportunities and often fails to motivate or inspire. As a plus, managers are usually approachable.
No choice on the computer hardware, office rooms are often noisy and employees are forced to do teleconference using cheap headsets. Meeting rooms often lacked enough space or sunlight.
On the other hand, easy accessibility to nearby parks/Oktoberfest is indeed a plus
Secretive and not much transparency about the company plans or the actual situation when it comes to personal politics.
Employees do not speak up their mind during meetings out of mistrust. Many of the mid level managers are decidedly silent out of fear or distrust. Most of the communications happen via emails in a formal way.
Salary has a huge bonus component (20%) - with most making between 10-13%, but how this is decided is usually a mystery.
On the +ve side, LP group has a standard policy on health insurance, social contributions etc. Also there is a Canteen and company provides a Metro ticket
Usually good/OK
Retail industry in general is interesting and offers some potential, also emnos' customers include some of the well known retailers.
