Terrible experience all round. Slow responses, recruiter ignores my emails, applied almost 2 months ago and still no feedback from the people I spoke to. Recruiter needs to do better.
I had an interview with the HR representative, but unfortunately the interaction didn’t leave a positive impression. I found the tone to be unfriendly, which made me question whether the company culture would be a good fit. First impressions matter, I felt judged and this experience made me reconsider my interest in the role.
Rude and unprofessional recruiter, I decided to drop out of the process as she has zero respect for people’s time and makes excuses. clearly does not know how to do her job and has many negative reviews on Glassdoor about her.
Even the CEO does not seem to take any action. This is the reputation your company has as an employer and it is very bad.
The interview process was a mess from beginning to end. The recruiter lacked a lot of knowledge on basic things and the first interview was unnecessary. The next one with their current chief of staff was okay and so were the next to follow. They do not know what they are looking for in a candidate, waste your time, and have the same recruiter give you a useless feedback call… not worth it and I do not recommend this.
Interview has 4 stages.
1. HR
2. Tech Screening
3. Homework Q&A
4. Cultural Fit
From the entire process, I managed to reach till stage 2; at stage 2, I was notified that competition is already at stage 4. This part I appreciated from company.
What I liked the most:
1. HR was able to provide a good overview about the product; this is pretty rare and it shows that the person has some brains.
2. The tech guy from stage 2 is a quick thinker with above the average communication skills.
When the company is going to have other job opportunities, I think I am going to re-apply!
If a candidate asks for feedback, at the very least reply to the email. Ghosting is just unprofessional.
Respect the skillset of people. Don´t offer mid level positions to people which are clearly senior. It is okay that requirements can change but honestly then you should be consequent and go for those people and not try to renegotiate salary and expectations during the process.
Companies that want mid level positions and salaries for senior people don´t offer a healthy culture. This is not "being supportive" like your values tell on your homepage but rather exploit the experience and skillset of your employees.
Live your values and respect people!
Run employee run ... until your company starts caring about you!
Would you be okay not being senior but mid level (2nd round)
Einen Kandidaten nicht zum Gespräch einladen, wenn dem Arbeitgeber die Qualifikationen des Kandidaten ohnehin nicht gefallen.
The whole interview process was very professional, very appreciative and at eye level. The communication with the Talent Sourcing Specialist leading the process and all colleagues involved, was very transparent and it was always clear what the next step would be. I received feedback very quickly and the next steps were planned promptly.
There were several rounds of interviews with different interview partners (People Team, Peers, Leadership Team) - remote and on-site - which were very well prepared with in-depth questions, where I was able to gain detailed insights into the company, the culture and the role, and where we were able to get to know each other very well.
Even after I accepted the offer, there was close contact with the People Team to prepare my onboarding very well and to make me feel part of enmacc from the first minute. What a great candidate experience!
