Strengthen professional and leadership competence on site, show more appreciation towards employees, eliminate manual tasks and take automation of repetitive processes seriously. In addition, the results of employee surveys in the subsidiaries should be taken seriously and followed by real action.

The office is centrally located and modern, but it often feels empty and rather gloomy since most employees work from home or are on business trips.

The colleagues are ok and generally supportive. However, most of them complain about poor management, monotonous tasks, and the lack of appreciation. These issues were already raised in the Best Place survey, but nothing changed since then.

My manager lacked both professional competence and emotional intelligence. He often appeared overwhelmed and disconnected – instead of leading or supporting his team, he spent most of his time on business trips, calls or avoiding internal issues within his area of responsability. There was no open feedback culture, no genuine interest in the team’s daily work, and no effort to develop his people. New ideas or initiatives were completely absent.

The work at the office mainly consists of writing emails, uploading documents, and filling out and releasing purchase orders in the company’s own software system.
