Arbeitsatmosphäre

The environment is toxic and exhausting, with no rewards.

The leadership only cares about profit, to the point where students are surcharged for anything. The priority is to make money, not to offer high quality education to the student body. However, the teachers are great and highly qualified, but so much more can be done for the students.

Kommunikation

The company operates with systems from the 90s and excel lists. Investing in technology is not a priority. Employees are forced to spend a horrendous number of hours working with outdated procedures. The lost time could be used in a much more productive way. By not having any automatized systems, mistakes happen very often. The only ones who suffer from these mistakes, are the students. Unfortunately.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Often, colleagues are verry smart, educated, professional and friendly. However, people leave as soon as they realize how bad the environment is. There is a constant stream of people coming and leaving the company.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The management has no skills in managing their teams. Extremely poor and chaotic management style. There are no opportunities to grow, in rank/ function or to develop new skills.’

If you do try to come up with new ideas, you are not encouraged or listened to, you are being told “it is not your place to think and come up with new ideas”. There is though one way to grow in rank and that is by back scratching and grovelling the management. Studies, experience and capabilities are not taken into consideration as valid reasons for a promotion. Favouritism rules this place.

Gleichberechtigung

Faviouritism applies for the students as well. Students grovelling the management can get away with a lot of things. Not even management is following the rules, as the rules change from person to person, from day to day, etc. The more of a back scratcher you are, the more you are valued here.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The workload is massive, and you are left alone with it, as middle management is busy pretending being busy.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Lastly, the company does not have an HR department and any operating principles. There is no culture. The salaries are a joke. There are no corporate befits. Not even a subsidy for the public transport. You’d be better of working an unqualified job, moneywise, but also mentally.
