The very appreciative, polite, and empathetic culture, as well as the family-like atmosphere. I also value the strong team spirit, the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership and the flexibility to combine work and personal needs.

The best part is that “I enjoy coming to work every day” feeling.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The work atmosphere is open, respectful, and very pleasant overall. What stands out in particular is how polite and empathetic everyone is with each other, which creates a almost family-like environment. At the same time, interactions remain professional and trust-based, making collaboration smooth and enjoyable.

There's always room for improvements such as communication skills between some coworkers. This always seems to be one of the hardest disciplines.

I couldn't imagine any better place to work. Waking up and being excited about your job is a privilege that I really appreciate.

Since you can decide when you want to come/to leave you can schedule your work around your private life not the other way around.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

As I already mentioned a few points (education budgets for personal or professional reasons) my coworkers are always willing to help, support and teach each other about different skills; not against but for each other. flowkey does a lot for its employees to feel appreciated and keep the motivation up; whenever one needs support (even for personal progression). One of the founders once said: "It'd be my goal to look back in life and see that everyone who worked for flowkey could fulfill his dreams, either personal or professional. To just support each other and make the best out of it." And I think that reflects my whole feedback here at kununu.

Gehalt/Benefits

I think flowkey pays above the average compared to other startups. As well as fair salaries, there's a lot of benefits for e.g. health, professional education, self education. Also there's a yearly share of the turnover which is really motivating! There has never been a late salary on my bank account.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

It's not uncommon to meet after work or having a drink over the weekend. That's what you makes you feel comfortable during work; it's not about working together, it's about working and supporting each other.

We do have younger workers as well as older employees. Everyone here is welcoming and integrated in the same way.

Hierarchy only exists where it's needed. Otherwise everyone's just colleagues, not bosses or employees.

Arbeitsbedingungen

We have this beautiful big office which is nice located (Bellevue), plenty of rooms and a lot of sunlight. Every room's interior is chosen by the founders itself. We have a super tasty coffee machine (not the machine, but the coffee!). Also there's a breakfast every monday morning and a monthly event where everyone can join going bowling, climbing or just having drinks. All this makes a great working atmosphere. Plus there's never too less space; you always have a possibility to be completely by yourself to focus on your work.

Kommunikation

I would never hesitate to ask someone for help or support because here "psychology safety" is not just taught (it is) it's also lived! There are regular meetings for different teams which varies from group to group (so this needs to be differentiated). All in all the company shares all the information about numbers, results, events and success, at least once a month.

Gleichberechtigung

The whole team is mixed between ladies and gentlemen. As one of the key elements, flowkey will never make any differences between genders. We have Moms and Dads and no one would ever put work before family, this is one of the leading purposes.

Interessante Aufgaben

As in every IT company it will never get boring since you never know about upcoming issues, breakthroughs etc.
