Company with a top-down approach with very limited possibility to contribute own ideas. Even smaller decisions are centralized around the management.
Nothing about sociological or environmental sustainability. All about money
Colleagues are nice and pleasant to work with.
The behaviour was very unpleasant. On the surface, everything looked as though they were kind, yet with time I realised it was just an appearance. Agreement is reached, yet the action is different. That happened on a regular basis. I am not exactly sure what the point of alignment and agreements is if we are not following the agreements.
Important messages are not communicated in time or at all. One department does not know what the other is doing.
There were some good colleagues. It started off well.
For Mental Health Week, I was asked to share my experience while working in the Sales Team at FoxInsights. It reflects in so many employees constantly leaving. Situation in JF with manager was tense when I gave feedback on goals or process or market situation. I couldn't talk to our manager directly but had to send questions via Slack even when she was sitting right there.
There was constant struggle to work the teams and it was terrible if we shared any issues faced by customers or feedback where the product needed improvement. When customers complaned about quality or tech issues there was no way to get quick and meaningful help to respond to them, and I ended up looking like fool in front of customers. Support team was completely unreliable.
Even when the company promoted about hiring international workers, respect was missing. One was left out of important strategic and regular topics if you didn’t know German. Clear bias towards those who thought and operated like locals or the way the manager wanted. On top of that, there were one or two colleagues who worked hard to be the manager’s favourite and would go to any extent to please them including guilting colleagues to contribut to manager’s birthday gift. This same affection was never shown by the same people towards colleagues’ birthdays. Guess who then gets promoted!
Be fair to employees. Have experience people lead others.
there was no room to give feedback about manager's behavior. HR was not neutral and only on management side.
we worked for oil companies. you can answer yourself.
no focus on professional development.
Not pleasant.
Made me and my friends go mental. I agree with feedback written here by others about about micromanagement, unfairness and poor management.
We had to get permission before talking to the Product Team and developers would respond rudely in open chat, and no one would stand up against that.
very difficult to earn commission. goals and expectations were not clearly communicated and became unrealistic over time. not to forget constant lying by managers and changing what they had agreed to previously.
You are stuck with support and quality issues. Fixing hardware.
Dear Kununu Team,
I urge you not to remove this comment. Previous employees tried to forewarn newcomers about FoxInsights, where hopeful beginnings often lead to depressive exits. Your platform's purpose is to provide a safe space for honest company reviews, and this message reflects the truth. Please, refrain from deletion.
Here is the comment I wish someone had shared before my entry into this company:
FoxInsights lacks a cohesive company culture for several reasons. The management's disregard for its employees, coupled with pervasive pressure at various levels, has resulted in multiple waves of resignations. Despite claims of openness to change, the management maintains the same detrimental practices.
Team collaboration is virtually nonexistent, creating a caste system within the company. Some functions are considered sacred and untouchable, further diminishing coherence among teams.
The only department seemingly invested in fostering a positive culture is HR. However, their efforts are undermined as management fails to recognize that caring for employees involves more than just listening—action is essential.
In my personal experience, joining FoxInsights was a mistake. Unattainable sales goals, micromanaging, inhuman and tyrannical management, inflexible sales strategies, and daily pressures prompted many of us to seek an exit within a month of joining. Doubt my story? Check LinkedIn, contact former employees from different periods, and you'll uncover a consistent narrative of discontent.
As a former Sales Manager at FoxInsights, I strongly advise against taking a position here. The sales targets set are unrealistically high, creating a constant atmosphere of pressure and frustration within the team. The leadership in my department not only engaged in complex power plays but also practiced intense micromanagement, effectively stifling any initiative. As a result, many skilled employees have resigned, and turnover is extremely high.Promises were aplenty, particularly during the interview process and in team meetings, but there's nothing behind them. Opportunities for advancement are almost nonexistent, and there's zero recognition for good work.I strongly recommend against considering employment here unless you're looking to jeopardize both your career and well-being.
