There is no people older than 50
The variety and quality of events the company is doing for its own employees is outstanding. Also the fact of an Friday lunches is really great. There are also several people that really try to bring the company forward, create bonding, ...
This is mostly an "I" company than a "we". People looking more for their own advantages rather then for working together for the whole company. I also always missed relevant leadership skills (delegation, backing and domain knowledge) and especially in the engineering and product relevant professional experience. And last but not least: The space in the office per employee (size of the desk etc) is the opposite of comfortable and usual.

Management should have a look at turnover rates per department! And question them. How does it come that half of my team was leaving the company within 6 months, and absolutely no one cares?
And please: take feedback seriously.
Could be better. If you don’t care, the company is fine. If you are professional, someone who would like to have an impact, you better should look for something better.
OK. Normal 9 till 5 Job. No overtime. But if you would like to go on vacation for more then 2 weeks, you need to provide a coverage plan. No home office option.
Education is not existing. We had an annual budget for trainings, which was so low, that you could not afford any training (as long as it is not for free). I was promised different when I applied for the job. But then it turned out to be a lie. There was also no development plan available. And there are unfortunately no seniors to learn from.
There was no team at all. I had 3 nice colleagues (who also left shortly after), but that’s it. There was no collaboration between colleagues. Even across departments.
There are unfortunately not many professional managers. I was not given feedback at all, there were no team meetings, no targets. Ideas for improvement were not welcome at all.

Communication was a disaster. Beside regular all-hands, where we were told how great we are, there was no further communication across departments and teams.
Salary was ok. No additional benefits. All benefits that were promised to me during application process, were not existing at all.

The company tries to do a lot for their people with free stuff, parties, hackertons and stuff, feedback sessions, coachings etc. The atmosphere is quite good and friendly.
it got quite corporate and hierarchic, the managers aren't professional and many decisions aren't thought through at all.
not so many blind decisions and listen to the people that have more knowledge then the managers

No home office except you have a specific reason. You can come between 8 and 10 in the morning but not one minute later than 10
My teams were great.
Not many professional managers, childish games of power of some in middle management positions. Structure change out of the blue that wasn't effective, separated well working teams and didn't work out already years ago. No room to debate on that.
Everything announced long before but worked on last minute with changes last minute. Despite many meetings there is a lack of information.
All interesting things we worked on were stopped one after another and left was just monkey work that should and could have been automated

The general company culture is very nice. People greet each other at the elevator and everyone is making a conscious effort to try to get to know people from other departments. One thing we recently introduced are rotation lunches, where you have lunch with people from different departments, very nice initiative! The atmosphere is also really nice on the second floor, with cakes baked almost every week! Really enjoy it!
I work from 08:00 - 17:00, unless there are important deadlines to be kept. This is completely fine.
Company should do a better job at internal career progression.

This is one of the main reasons why I enjoy working for GoEuro - besides this, I am also very fortunate to have a manager who I can trust.
I can always go to my manager if I have concerns, general questions or just need to talk. There is a real effort being made when it comes to the other managers and making sure they receive proper management training. GoEuro has provided all managers with a 3-month management training course, provided by an external agency.
Everything is fine. Nice big desks, mac laptops and normal desk chairs. There are also gym balls as well as standing desks for those who have back issues.
This is an area of improvement, however communication with my manager is always super transparent. Upper management however can do a better job at communicating the company strategy.
I have never experienced any issues.
The great thing here is that if you have a good idea and if you back it up with research, you are given the opportunity to do it.

Nothing professional about this company what so ever. Top management is treating people very, very badly. This leads to people starting gossiping and bullying each other. Horrible and dangerous company culture.

Top management is bullying other managers and employees, who then also start to bully each other. A lot of gossip. Very unprofessional. Someone from top management is acting very inappropriate against women.. sending offensive text messages and making very inappropriate moves. No names given, but let's say the person is VERY important to the company.
Everyone's favorite topic: to talk negatively about the company. That's really the only thing we colleagues talk about
They pay you a very low salary, but expect you to give them your soul and to always work.
Please, don't do this if you want to learn and grow. There are no real seniors to learn from. No development plans. If you want to stay in Berlin for a while to party, then why not!
I was earning more as an intern in my home country... They know that young people would do almost anything to live in Berlin, so they don't need to pay them a decent salary.
Nothing about the climate. No recycling, no policies..
Gossip, gossip, gossip... It feels like you're surrounded by a bunch of high school kids.
There are no older people, just a bunch of party kids.
The managers are no real managers. For example, there is a manager with responsibility for over 60 people who started there as an intern just a few years ago, with no other experiences before. She didn't get any leadership training either, and is also one of the bullies. Sorry, but I can't take this seriously..
Everything is very cheap. Chairs and desks are not ergonomic, I actually got a bad back ache from this and needed to be on sick leave for two weeks.
Please learn the word internal communications.
Top management need to take courses in anti discrimination and gender equality, because they fail big time on this matter.

GoEuro ist nicht mehr das typische Start-Up sondern eher auf dem Sprung zum besonderen Tech Unternehmen. Auf allen Ebenen arbeitet man mit ehemaligen Mitarbeitern aus fast allen großen Tech Giganten zusammen (ex-Google, Facebook, Skype, ebay, etc.), die sehr inspirierend sind. Das Management ist sehr gut und vor allem transparent über alle relevanten Entscheidungen und Entwicklungen. Der technische Standard ist sehr hoch und der Kollegenzusammenhalt super!
das die 200 Mitarbeiter aus 40 Ländern kommen und fast genau so viele Frauen wie Männer hier arbeiten. Ich kann eigene Ideen einbringen.
Aufstiegschancen sind in einem Startup immer möglich, das Weiterbildungsbudget ist aber begrenzt

Bisher ist GoEuro noch nicht so bekannt, das kann sich aber durchaus bald ändern :)
GoEuro ist ein schnell wachsendes Start-up mit großen Ambitionen. Die Ziele sind dementsprechend hoch und wer nach einem klassischen 9-5 Job sucht wird diesen nicht unbedingt finden. Dennoch ist die Work-Life-Balance in den meisten Teams sehr gut und das Management verstehen das die besten Resultate durch ausgeruhte Mitarbeiter erzielt werden.
Es gibt Education-Days und ein Weiterbildungsbudget für jeden Mitarbeiter. Dazu viel learning on the Job, Tech Tuesday Lunches und Wednesday Präsentationen.
Gute Mitarbeiter kosten Geld. Das hat das Unternehmen verstanden und bezahlt inzwischen sehr gute Gehälter. Darüber hinaus haben viele Mitarbeiter Share Options.
Fantastisch! Sehr international, jeder wird mit offenen Armen empfangen und es gibt jede Menge Gelegenheiten sich gut zu integrieren.
Großartiges Führungsteam! Gute Leute im Mittelmanagement, denen es aber teilweise noch etwas an Erfahrung fehlt.
Das Büro und das Equipment ist gut, da das Unternehmen aber äußerst schnell wächst sind viele Prozesse nicht hundertprozentig definiert. Wer sich in einem Semi-Strukturierten Umfeld wohlfühlt wird es mögen.
Die Kommunikation im Unternehmen ist sehr offen & transparent. Die Woche started mit einem All-Hands-Meeting, es gibt eine monatliche Tea Time mit dem Geschäftsführer. Die Unternehmenssprache ist Englisch.
