Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

They avoid discussing with their employees. They don’t want to exchange ideas with normal workers. It’s a very strange way of dealing with people - as if they were allergic to people keep the business running on a daily basis.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

They really could educate young department managers. Someone twentysomething doesn’t know how to support the employees. They only know how to point out the mistakes of the employees as mean as they can and base their self-esteem and leadership qualities on the number of ’likes’ on the instagram account of their own.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

You don’t feel welcome in this house, the only thing they’re interested in are your mistakes and how to tell as mean as they can that you’ve done something wrong. You’re socially unwelcome.

Kommunikation

They look for your sore points and attack them just like children until you crash down. They don’t want to see you doing better than them.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The departments work against each other and the department managers as well. It’s people against people.

Work-Life-Balance

They call you home and blame you for faults you haven’t even done or send you Whats app messages to blame you about things that you or someone else didn’t manage to do in a hurry. They don’t care if you are having your day off or just finished your shift around midnight.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The restaurant managers in the morning shift are very friendly and the bar manager as well. They have human touch.

Interessante Aufgaben

There’s nothing wrong with the tasks - you have to work everywhere. But there are very young people in leading positions and they have no idea of how to deal with the employees and how to run the department - the only thing they care of is who made a mistake. Finding the culprit is the most important thing - they have no idea how to motivate and support the emploees and how to be a human bringen to another.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Some of the older colleagues are friendly - they lack the inhumane and self-absorbed behaviour of the young department managers.

Arbeitsbedingungen

You don’t get the breaks when the house is full - you even get an e-mail from the assisting department manager who makes it clear that ”we have to give up the breaks for the time being”.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There’s nothing in it for you. When you leave, they just hire someone new. They aren’t interested in keeping skilled people in house.
