It was really nice while it lasted, but unfortunately, the situation has changed significantly.
The atmosphere had already deteriorated considerably since the end of last year, with multiple rounds of layoffs and increasing uncertainty. What is particularly difficult to understand is that the company continued hiring while, at the same time, reducing its workforce — only to eventually announce another massive round of layoffs, with around 40% of employees affected in September 2026.
After so many people have left or been let go over the past year, it is difficult to recognize the company it used to be. The uncertainty, lack of stability and repeated restructuring have had a significant impact on morale and the overall working environment.
It is a shame, because there was genuinely a lot to like about the company and the people. For me, the biggest disappointment is seeing what could have been a great place to work deteriorate so dramatically.
