There are still smart, well-intentioned colleagues who care deeply about their work and want the company to succeed. The early vision and core product had genuine potential.
The culture has deteriorated into fear and micromanagement. Communication is poor, priorities change constantly, and leadership avoids accountability. HR continues to promote a “great culture” that no longer exists. Earlier positive reviews likely reflect what the company once was, and not what it has become. Over the past year, I’ve repeatedly heard from new joiners who were surprised by how different the level of ownership and company culture were compared to what was promised during the interview process. Anyone considering a role here should do careful due diligence before joining.
Create stability, take responsibility at the top, and focus on clarity instead of constant micromanagement and instability.
The atmosphere has become increasingly tense and uncomfortable. Morale has dropped, and people talk about layoffs a lot when leadership isn't around. The culture feels defined by micromanagement rather than trust, with constant changes and growing uncertainty.
Externally, the company still projects a strong image, but internally the reality no longer matches what is portrayed to candidates or customers. I and many others I would speak to at the company fear what the image of the company will be in the future.
Highly dependent on your department. Micromanagement and shifting priorities often make it difficult to maintain a consistent balance.
Limited opportunities. Frequent leadership changes, restructuring, and shifting priorities make growth and long-term planning difficult.
Average compensation for the industry. Benefits are fine on paper but do not offset the stress and instability.
Most colleagues are talented and supportive of one another. However, the overall pressure and lack of leadership direction make collaboration more difficult than it should be.
Leadership has become increasingly centralized. The CEO directly manages multiple teams but has not demonstrated the ability to lead them effectively. Accountability is often redirected toward employees rather than owned at the top.
The work environment feels tense and uncertain. Pressure from leadership has increased, and constant changes make it difficult to stay motivated.
Information generally flows one way – from top to bottom. Feedback is rarely considered, and decisions often change without clear explanation, leaving teams feeling disconnected.
There are some interesting projects, but priorities change frequently. In marketing especially, goals are vague, deadlines unrealistic, and micromanagement constant.
