The company offers a truly international and multicultural work environment, with English as the main business language. Colleagues are friendly, supportive, and make teamwork enjoyable. There is a strong focus on work-life balance, with flexible working hours (core hours between 10:00 and 15:00) and the ability to bank overtime hours. We can also work remotely up to 8 days a month, which adds a lot of flexibility.
The company provides nice benefits like meal vouchers, a transportation allowance, a Wellhub subscription, and free breakfast. Team building events and internal clubs make it easy to connect with colleagues outside of work projects. There is also a commitment to personal growth with yearly training opportunities and a non-binding annual salary review and bonus program.
Even during challenging economic periods, the company remained financially stable and continued to recognize employees’ contributions through bonuses and salary increases. Overall, it's a company that values its employees and creates a supportive and motivating workplace.
The company has a good overall structure, more involvement of local teams in decision-making would help employees feel more empowered and valued. At times, decisions made by headquarters can feel a bit distant from the local reality, and more transparent communication could help bridge this gap.
Encouraging more bottom-up feedback and supporting new ideas with clearer processes could further improve employee satisfaction and innovation.
The company has a friendly and multicultural work environment, and the people are great to work with. Work-life balance is possible when needed, and there is also flexibility with working hours. When there is a lot to do, we work hard, but the company also cares about employees' well-being. There are nice benefits like lunch vouchers, Wellhub, and free breakfast. Mobile work is possible, and the team spirit is good. The company is also stable. Even during though economical times we still received salary increases and bonuses. Overall, it’s a good place to work.
The office space could be better. The meeting rooms and common areas are too small for the number of people, which makes work harder. It would help to have more space for meetings and quiet work. Also, local employees should be more involved in decisions. Right now, many things are decided without asking us. If we had more trust and responsibilities, we could do our jobs better and feel more valued. Better communication and support for new ideas would also help.
friendly and respectful

office space could be better
could be better
Here I would add over there they do speak Inglish and Konglish, but not English!
Good place to gain your salary without much work!
No career development, no investment.
Unfortunately the whole environment limits your further development.
Lot of benifits like Food coupons, team buildings, internal clubs.. international colleagues and friendly environment..
Many important decisions are controlled by HQ.

Hyundai AutoEver Europe is a subsidiary and, at times, there will be Headquarter decisions which the company has no control over. Sometimes this leads to positive outcomes but other times, it leads to negative outcomes with little possibility of revert course.
I would suggest to improve the promotion process. The promotion to a senior position means the added benefit of the car allowance. However, the benefits between the first and second grades are less apparent, making it harder for employees to feel motivated when aiming for a promotion. Adding benefits at the second grade level would give employees a clear goal to work toward and make the promotion process feel more rewarding/impactful and also increase retention. Regardless, the company offer great benefits for everyone.
some benefits are pretty decent.
Change management.
change MINDSET
change EVALUATION/ PROMOTION models
change PAYments model
TOXIC!
If spending more money on the fake image and marketing then on the people real development then yeah looks like a great image but with really cheap quality inside
Ridiculous promotion schema
Benefits are ok, payment is below market.
You need to know korean language to make that happen.
The top management is promoted to those positions mostly because they are Korean but 99% of them have no idea on what a managerial role is
Very poor and sometimes very difficult since most of the Korean cooworkers have an english level of A1 max A2.
If there were 0 stars ai would use it
Old tech old mindset, just talking and telling beautiful lies but never accomplishing anything ever,
Many benefits like Job tickets, parking, Lunch vouchers, breakfast and friendly receptionist.
When you go to HR's with problems for solutions they say discuss with your department. Boss says everything is not in my hands discuss with HR's. Always a ping pong without a solution,
Please monitor managers in monthly basis. The promotion criteria is so bad that managers have power to promote only Koreans. No performance based grades. Please monitor more for equal treatment of employees.
Working Atmosphere is Okay. Koreans don't talk only Asians will be friendly with you.
Work life balance is good as HR's keep on organizing some effective programs which encourage employees.
No team work and professionalism. Most of the people in my department keep on fighting with each other.
Manager only supports girls and Koreans. When you talk about goals and scope of development. Manager is answerless. He just smiles.
Working environment is toxic in my department. No friendly gestures like German companies where there is appreciation of your present work.
Very Bad Communications. Many Koreans don't know proper English but get promoted. Only HQ team teaches you something useful. No regular meetings (No weekly and monthly meetings)
Salary is not so good and upto the market. Many colleagues are below average salary. But benefits are many for employees.
I love to give zero star. In my department manager only supports girls and promote Koreans. When you ask for promotions or challenges there is no feedback. Just talk with HR's these answers Manager provide.
Only HQ people give you good task.
Starting my career at Hyundai AutoEver Europe, fresh from completing my master's degree in Germany, seemed like a promising opportunity. However, my experience there turned out to be profoundly disappointing and damaging.
Upon joining the company, I faced immediate hostility from a team member who is a close relative of our manager. Within a week, this colleague began to dominate and disrespect me, creating a hostile work environment. One incident stands out: during a knowledge transfer session inside a car, he belittled me about the car's value and insinuated that I, as an Indian, couldn’t appreciate its worth. Such treatment made every work-related task feel like an accusation of wrongdoing.
The challenges extended beyond personal mistreatment. Despite English being the company’s official language, my colleague struggled with basic communication in English. His qualifications are in construction management, rather than IT or engineering, and lack of relevant experience and He was hired directly from Korea because of his familial connection to the manager.
Seeking advice from colleagues, they confirmed that he treated everyone the same way, taking pleasure in suppressing others, and previously got warnings from HR because of his behavior with other colleagues. My colleagues suggested I speak to our manager. However, when I did, my manager dismissed my concerns, telling me, "You are not in school, so you can't complain about this to me." I later found out the abusive colleague was his close relative, which explained why my manager consistently favored him. After my issue he stops sharing any information related to my work.
The manager himself was deeply problematic, playing dirty politics and exhibiting discriminatory practices and a biased work environment. Non-Korean employees were consistently given undesirable tasks, while favorable assignments and opportunities were reserved for Korean employees. Company policies, such as the allowance for home office days, were unfairly applied, with non-Korean employees often having their requests ignored or rejected at the last minute.
One particularly dangerous incident occurred during a field trip in Germany. Despite a snowstorm warning, our manager provided us with a car equipped with summer tires, which are unsafe for such conditions. We were required to proceed with the trip anyway and that troubling Korean colleague called one of my team members and said "The car is really expensive and on summer tires please take care of the car" , showing more concern for the vehicle than for our safety.
That day, we arrived at our destination very late. The next day, our manager criticized us for not completing our work properly and for not submitting the report on time. He even told my colleague that the field trip was not a vacation, showing a complete disregard for our well-being, despite the hazardous conditions we faced.
After six challenging months, I was informed that I hadn't passed my probation and was being terminated due to an alleged "attitude towards colleagues." No issues with my performance were mentioned, despite completing all assigned tasks. Additionally, I had invested over 3,500 euros of my own money to obtain a German driving license, as required by the company, only to have my efforts and expenses rendered futile.
This experience left me devastated, and mentally traumatized and forced me to leave Germany and return to India, feeling that my hard work and dreams had been shattered. My time at Hyundai AutoEver Europe was a distressing experience that I hope no one else has to endure.
I urge caution to anyone considering a position at Hyundai AutoEver Europe, especially career starters. Protect your mental well-being and consider your choices carefully.
The Managers do not have leadership. They don’t know ‘how to work’ but they are ‘shouting to the employees’. Not professional.
With order of the manager, I worked 12 hours a day but did not get any proper compensation.
Apply somewhere huge German company not this. The name value is not good for your career.
One of my manager said ‘Here in Autoever, there is no ‘Real German’ but there are only Asians, Indians and East Europeans as no German want to work in this shitty place. The one thing he said the truth.
The worst.
The Hyundai Autoever is small company like supplier at Hyundai Motor Group. Therefore, they don’t have any power but the ‘customer’ such as HQ Korea, HMETC, EUQC, KME decide their destination.
Huge discriminations
Friendly and diverse colleagues from all over the world.
Improved a lot through the flexible working hours.
Competitive salary, good benefits, salary increases, bonuses.
Doing some activities. More could be done...
Great colleagues, open and willing to help.
Mostly Korean managers.
Officially English is the business language. In reality is Korean & English.
So verdient kununu Geld.
