Software engineers enjoy a very flexible work time, apart for some project deadlines one is free to organize their work time as they see fit, as long as the total working hours are fulfilled.

Some interesting coding jobs, some chores. The company is going in hte way of more automation / process development and less handwork / algorithm development – this might be or not your cup of tea.

Never seen discrimination against women, but as usual in the field there are not many of them in the SW development division.

Not many colleagues were older than me. That said, I can remember no problems with them in my whole stay at the company.
Arbeitsbedingungen
4½ stars. Nice work position in a panoramic tower. The space is not immense and one must share the space with 4–8 colleagues. Noise-canceling headphones are provided.

A lot of projects are with mining companies or other corporations in the oil&gas sector.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Good salary and benefits considering that it's a small-medium enterprise in a small-medium city. Salary is only renegotiated every 18 month by default though one might be able to improve the schedule.

Can't say much on this topic. Some of the employees praise the company, some do not like it. As usual.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
The company offers seminars and conferences. There are efforts to offer ways up to the employees. Obviously in a SME there are not infinite layers in the organizational chart.

It is nice that you perceived the working atmosphere so positively. It is always important to have a good atmosphere where colleagues work well together and also the supervisor supports you. Our unique location on the Lousberg also contributes a lot to this. From time to time, I personally find it very relaxing to look out into the park that surrounds the tower.
With our part-time models and flexible working hours, we want to enable a good work-life balance. It's nice that you appreciate this.
I'm glad that you also see our image as good. Through our solutions, emissions in the raw material industry can be significantly reduced, whereby we too can make our contribution to a better future.
