Industrial Gas Turbine Mechanical Site Installation Leader (MGT)

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a member of the MGT Filed Service team, you will supervise the on-site installation of medium-sized gas turbines from the mechanical side. Your tasks will include, among other things, the management of the subcontractors of mechanical engineering, maintaining contact with the customer and the Swedish project team, and performing administrative and logistical tasks.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the mechanical installation of gas turbine
• Lead local labor (10 - 30 people) in the installation work of gas turbine plants on customer sites
• Keeping contact with customers and project management
• Reporting and keeping documentations up to date

What You Bring 

●      Degree in Mechanical (BsC or MsC) or equivalent knowledge gained through previous work experience in either mechanics, electricity, energy, operation and maintenance, sea or aviation

●      Strong EHS oriented mindset, ensuring a secure and hazard-free work environment

●      Electrical knowledge is an advantage

●      English language skill (intermediate level or above)

●      Knowledge of MS Office applications

●      Flexibility - commonly the delegations are up to 12 weeks long (with around 250 travel days per year)

●      Self-sufficient, independent, quality-oriented personality

●      Team player mindset, excellent adaptability

●      Ability to lead and motivate other people

●      Decisiveness

●      Ability to adapt new cultures and environments

●      Living in Hungary (obtain Hungarian Address Card) but willing to work internationally. No need to move to Budapest

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
