About ITM

ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

In the United States, ITM is expanding to support our growing portfolio and pipeline.  We are building a high-performing team to bring innovative radiopharmaceutical therapies to patients and strengthen our presence in oncology.  

The Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Specialist (RPTS) is a field based clinical and technical expert responsible for supporting the safe and effective implementation of ITM’s radiopharmaceutical therapy portfolio. This role serves as a key clinical resource for supporting healthcare providers, nuclear medicine departments, and radiation and medical oncology teams with ITM product portfolio adoption, implementation, and clinical integration.

The RPTS will support the customer from site readiness and onboarding, through first patient treatment, and serve as an ongoing clinical product support resource. The RPTS will partner closely with Commercial, Market Access, Supply Chain, Clinical Operations, and Customer Support to ensure successful adoption of ITM therapies while delivering the most optimal customer experience.

Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Specialist (RPTS) - US Southeast Territory

Your role

Clinical Implementation & Site Readiness

• Lead customer onboarding for new radiopharmaceutical therapy sites
• Conduct site readiness assessments to evaluate operational workflows, staffing, equipment, and regulatory compliance
• Partner with clinical sites to support successful therapy launches
• Identify workflow improvements to increase operational efficiency and patient throughput

Clinical Education

• Provide customers with clinical education and support initial adoption of ITM radiopharmaceutical therapy, on-site clinical guidance for first patient treatment, and follow up clinical applications support, as needed

• Partner with healthcare teams to facilitate therapy preparation, administration, patient management, and post-treatment procedures
• Provide education on radiation safety, handling of radioactive materials, and waste management in accordance with radiation safety and regulatory requirements
• Support continuing education initiatives and clinical competency development

Customer Support

• Serve as the primary clinical radiopharmaceutical therapy applications resource for accounts
• Respond to customer questions regarding treatment workflow, operational best practices, and therapy implementation
• Strive to develop long-term partnerships with key stakeholders
• Support customer retention through ongoing education and account engagement

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Partner with commercial team to provide clinical educational resources to therapeutic sites.
• Support commercial partners to support account implementation and customer success.
• Coordinate with customer support and account managers to facilitate seamless treatment scheduling and product delivery.
• Share customer feedback and field insights to support continuous improvement.

Compliance

• Conduct all activities in accordance with FDA and NRC regulations, radiation safety standards, national guidelines, and applicable healthcare compliance requirements
• Document customer interactions, implementation activities, and follow up actions using CRM systems
• Maintain current knowledge of radiopharmaceutical therapy guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

Your profile

Qualifications (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine or other relevant health care discipline
• ARRT(N) or CNMT professional certification
• Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in nuclear medicine with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in radiopharmaceutical therapy
• Strong understanding of therapeutic care teams and workflows
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
• Ability to travel 70-80% within assigned territory and support other territory coverage as needed

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience supporting the clinical applications of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, including lutetium 177 therapies
• Experience with customer education, clinical applications, or new procedure implementation
• Knowledge of interdisciplinary oncology care pathways

Salary Range (US) $170,000 - $200,000

The compensation range for this US role is listed above for a full-time employee.  Actual salary will vary based on factors such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and demonstrated experience.
